Hoang Thanh Thuy 1 Hotel — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

well, they stole our money and kicked us out when my hubby and I got to HCMC, we decided to stay here for 3 days before visit others cities in Vn. Worst decision ever! The first night was ok except the bed is kinda itchy. the second day, we went out for breakfast, we went for like 15 mins and i realized that i forgot to bring my wallet with me. i told my hubby and he said it's fine, my wallet is in the his backpack, nobody will ever notice. but i was so worried we got back asap. i checked my wallet and 400 bucks was GONE. i'm 100% sure i know how much money i had, i checked it immediate when we checked in the night before and i put my wallet underneath my hubby's clothes. we tried to ask the women at the reception politely if there anyone went into our room that morning(my hubby can speaks Vietnamese). She said yes, some janitors did, to change our towels and clean our room. but our room was still the same, still all dirty towels, then what was they did there? we tried not to blame anyone, she didn't even let us finish our story she said no, what we said was all lies and kicked us out and now we're staying at another hotel . this is our vacation and we didn't want to complicate things so ok, if your hotel's reputation is only worths 400 bucks, then fine by me oh, when we leave, she sarcastic smiled and said we should see her hotel's reviews online, never a bad reviews. well, i guess...

It's a basic hotel - and I've been staying here for a few years. I like it here. Most things work - for 370k, you get quite a big room, a big bed, comfortable pillows, a nice toilet, hot showers (which sometimes take quite a while to heat up), a desk and chair, air-con, wifi, cable TV. Good enough for me. No breakfast of course and no pot for boiling water. But hot water's available at the reception. I've stayed around a few hotels in the vicinity but this is still the best in this...

Stayed in the deluxe double room with balcony for 17USD. Don't doubt it, book this hotel! The rooms are modern spacious and perfectly clean. Huge windows with lots of light. Hot water and good shower. The best hotel I stayed in in HCMC. The only sour note of the experience was the lack of friendliness and frosty reception from 2 members of staff.
