Very spacious rooms, it's a big old home style accomodation. They have a big fridge and kitchen inside the room. Staff is very nice and friendly. Lot of seating in common area downstairs. There is also a free laundry.

The room is a bit old and the bathroom could use a bit of a makeover as the water pressure is a bit low (nothing scary it is manageable) the toilet seat looks very worn out probably should be replaced.

There is a gs25 next door and a lot of local style plastic stool cheap and tasty food options. A vp bank ATM (for those free withdrawals) is 5 mins away.

I got an amazing deal on the hotel and the facilities are way way more than what I paid for. But the old school feel and the fact it is so far away makes me a less of a fan. Especially because before this I was staying at a modern new hotel in the heart of district 3.

Doesn't take away anything from the fact that it is a beautiful spacious accomodation and amazing value for money with a lot of amenities and the friendliest staff.

Oh also there is no elevator, the stairs are small and very friendly though so not a deal breaker for me. Only gripe is that I had spoken to them before coming and was told I had a room on the 1st floor but they actually put me on the 2nd floor. Best hotel I've stayed at in Vietnam for the price at $16usd/night. Everything is incredibly spacious- from the bedroom to the bathroom and the lounge areas. Water pressure is great but water doesn't get super hot. Aircon is quiet. I loved having a bench and desk- I was able to practice yoga and work remotely in the space. Laundry on premise is super convenient although it was a bit annoying the machines seemed to be used up to wash bed sheets everyday. Kitchen is awesome- everything you could possibly need plus free hot/cold water. Lounge is beautiful but I wish it was enclosed and air conditioned.

The attached cafe is adorable and there's another next door serving tasty fresh juices. Large park across the street to take a walk. Food and convenience store a bit hard to walk to. There is no other walkable area but a grab bike is only a dollar to ben thanh area.
