An Homestay Hue — Hotel in Hue City

Great experience. The family has been the nicest most attentive hosts. They have given advice about what to do/see and arranged quite a few things for us (tours, taxis, recommended restaurants)

Is not on the main Street but there are signs guiding you at every turn for the 1-2 minutes walk that is necessary. Just look for the signs and is imposible to get lost.

The place itself is lovely. Double height ceilings with lanterns and mezzanine spaces filled with light. The beds are comfy and the bathroom clean. They provide towels and hairdryer and have water, beer and coca cola in the kitchen (for a very reasonable price)

We had dinner with the family and other guest and it was very nice, the feeling was like dining with old friends. The food was homemade and both vegetarian and meat options.

Breakfast is either traditional Vietnamese breakfast (noodles) or eggs any way you want them. Both tea and coffee are delicious.

We stayed in the shared room and there are two very distinct spaces so it was almost like having our very own room.

My only regret was not being able to stay there longer to enjoy...

My wife and I stayed at Dong and An's other homestay, but did a food tour of Hue with An one day and enjoyed hanging out with them at An's homestay during some down time. The food tour with An was phenomenal, she's super friendly and a great guide to the city, and personalized the tour based on what we'd already seen and eaten. Her homestay looked great as well from what we saw of it. The food/city tour was an incredible 8 hours, at a price that was less than some of the more established outfits in town. By the end, we felt like family, and could not recommend...

We stayed at An's for a month while working in Hue. The rooms are simple and clean, there is plenty of space to relax (dining area, kitchen and mezzanine) and the rate is great value for money! The best part about staying at An's is An herself and her family. They are so welcoming, will go the extra mile to help you with whatever you need, feed you delicious treats and you have the option to eat dinner with the family - where they cook enough different Vietnamese dishes to...
