I cannot in good conscience leave a review better than lukewarm for my stay. I should have known when I can’t even find it on Google maps (only X’am cafe which is right beside, they share the same building)||Firstly, the original room I booked was on the first floor, with living room sliding doors opening right to the side of main entrance, and for that reason I cannot open any doors or windows (so no fresh air, when the entire room smelled musty and humid). Then, I found out both bath towels had stains on them (I was told they were rust stains but I thought it was unacceptable).||Wifi did not work in rooms, I woke up to no electricity (there was a blackout), and no one in the front room (note, there isn’t even a proper reception, and the cleaning lady said they would whatsapp me but I didn’t receive anything).. so I left messages on booking.com and they replied saying there was a problem with the power and they would replace the towels, then they offered to change rooms for me, which I denied initially but accepted as I couldn’t stay in that musty room. ||I liked the second room on the third floor as I was able to open the sliding doors for fresh air, but again, some lights were not working (they have many lights on each switch but only 1 seems to be connected), and to my dismay I found rust stains on my towel AGAIN! (I only saw it upon checking out so was too late to say anything). ||I was able to sleep better that night and appreciated the change of rooms, but so much trouble and so many basic things that are NOT working for a basic accommodation? Oh and, the bathroom clogs/ floods!||(Another thing I found strange was the front door and the first room on the ground floor shared the same key code.. you can’t lock the doors in another way from outside, which didn’t make me feel safe.) ||I’m sorry, I really wanted to like this place (pictures looked good), but I didn’t. This needs to be a warning for other travellers as the reviews are not accurate!||The only positive thing about this stay was the location, which was close to many eateries and walking distance to the mall and...
Read moreMy first time traveling solo, and Hue as my first destination. Everything went smooth because I chose to book this place. The room I rented is very cozy and clean. Ms.Hanh, the lady in charge of the house is very accommodating and helpful. They help me book everything from motorbikes, to bus transfers, she really took care of me :) There’s also a cute cafe next to it, that served affordable and really good coffee (make sure to try the Salt Coffee)||Highly recommend...
