My favorite meal in Hue by far!!! This is a local restaurant run by the sweetest family ever. You MUST get the sizzling plates and the fried duck wings. My favorite was the glass noodle sizzling plate, but the egg noodle one was so good it was truly hard to pick! If you’re lucky, you might meet the owner’s daughters who are super sweet and talented. One of them is an amazing singer whose music videos are playing in the restaurant and the other is the funniest, nicest girl ever!! We had a great time at this restaurant chatting and laughing with them for hours. Just thinking about my experience here fills my heart with warmth. I will definitely be back next...

We had a delicious dinner at this charming family-run place. We were excited by the menu as we love duck. The mom and daughter duo suggested we get the duck combo platter (not official name, which we forget, but certainly describes it) and we’re glad we did. A mix of duck wings, meat on lemongrass skewers, crispy fried duck, noodles and salad for us to mix and match as we wanted. Wow! What a special find in Hue! Though the restaurant was closed after lunch hours, Herr Quang and his lovely family welcomed us into his restaurant for a very special meal!

The Herr Quang showed us pictures of the farm where they raise the ducks they serve at their restaurant and sell in markets. They even showed off the singing talents of their younger daughter through her YouTube videos!
