Tokyo Hotel — Hotel in Lào Cai

Had a great stay here. The rooms are simple, but have all the necessities, I like that they have a fan and ac, as I usually prefer a fan. It’s close to all the busses, trains, and vinmart. If you come from Sapa the local bus will drop you off right in front of this hotel if you show them the address.

Can walk about 3 minutes and enjoy a coffee by the river as well, which is nice on a rainy day.

The owner and staff are really friendly and helpful. If you speak little or no Vietnamese you can easily use google translate.

The owner really is amazing, he let me borrow his motorbike for free for a day, let me borrow an umbrella and helped me book a last minute bus to Hanoi. He dropped me off at the bus stop and even had a cafe sửa delivered for me before I left and gave me a small keychain (all for free).

Best Service, Clean rooms and Affordable

The hotels looked renovated recently so everything looks new and nicely cleaned. Hey provide towels and other usables. My room has big glass windows on one wall which allows good natural light to come in the room.

It's at walking distance from Railway station and bus stand. There are super markets and restaurants nearby.

The most appreciating and highlight is the nature of the owner (person on reception). He is so humble, attentive and ready to help you. We had a nice talk and he gave me some packaged food to eat as I reached late there.

The hotel has the lights in stairs which is very attractive, basically it glows stepwise when u start walking on it.

Very nice stay considering the price....

I really DON'T recommend. The owner/manager is talking about his customers in a rude way when he thinks they don't realise. I think he can do better in life but carries pain im his heart and inflicts it on others like a knife.

Also uses TOXIC chemicals (perfume spray- gold can) in the rooms to make the customers feel good and safe and stay longer.

Please stay away until this man has grown up. At...
