This place was one of the highlights of our three week trip to Vietnam. This homestay is just out of Sapa town, situated amongst the rice fields and on the side of a mountain this offering a fantastic view. Each room/private lodging, offers a view of the mountains, the two close to the pool also including a view of the latter. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. We took two rooms as we were a party of 4.
This homestead offers so many services, all run by trustworthy and reliable people. We took the night train from Hanoi and they arranged a pickup at the train station for us so we got a lift directly to the homestay which was so convenient. They also have scooters for rent, a service we did not use. What they do also offer is guided walks, something we did do. The guide, Sun, is from the local village and she was our guide for two walks we did. One walk was the tour of the rice fields and wonderful bamboo forest and the next day we did a mountain walk which as very impressive, taking us to o e of the high points in the mountains.
The homestay offers a lovely pool which was so refreshing after our two day walks we did. The breakfast was also lovely, we recommend you try the omelet.
Lang, our host, was very keen on our well-being and made sure all was top notch. The weather was on our side which made this Sapa Experience really unforgettable. We were there in June.
I recommend this homestay as it was perfect for what we were looking for, a place to relax, be zen but also enjoy the beautiful countryside and be outside of town. We also wanted to be I touch with the local community and see some of their traditions, which the guided tours allowed us. Sun was very knowledgeable about the traditions, the plants, the rice fields and clothing (dying of the clothes using local plants etc). Very interesting.

Read moreWe went to Sapa to enjoy the beautiful nature and get to know the local culture, and this place was the absolute perfect choice! It is 20-30 minutes outside of Sapa itself, so you completely escape all the crowded tourism, but there are still lots of cafés, fresh fruit stands, and amazing restaurants nearby. The farmstay itself offers guided trekking which really takes you deep into the incredible landscapes - breathtaking views from the top of a nearby mountain, deep bamboo forests, and peaceful rice fields are all part of it! Catcat village is also just 30 minutes away, as is the starting point of the train to Fansipan. That means that even if the weather is foggy (which happens quite often in Sapa), there is always something to do.|Besides the amazing choices for daily activities, we just cannot recommend and applaud the family who runs the place enough! They are some of the most friendly, supportive, and welcoming people we have met throughout our trip to Vietnam. You immediately feel like part of the family, the home-cooked dinner is incredibly plentiful and absolutely delicious (as are the various breakfast options!), the kids are truly adorable, and it is very easy to chat with other guests if you feel like it! |Finally, the property is so well maintained it feels like a luxury resort within a comfy family environment. The views from the rooms are spectacular, the rooms themselves are beautifully decorated and in perfect condition, the garden is lush green and always smelled amazing with all the blooming flowers, and swimming in the infinity pool in the sun with a perfect view of the valley was the highlight of our trip! |Lang and her family made our trip an unforgettable experience, so anyone visiting Sapa should not pass on the opportunity to enjoy life to its fullest at their...
Read moreThe owner and the people working there were polite and respectful. It felt like any other hotel to be honest we really didn’t have much interaction with the owner as other guests had or at least that’s what I’ve seen on the comments. The room is ok but since it’s located in the mountains it has a strong smell of humidity and many insects too. I’ve seen some comments saying that the room near the pool lacks of privacy but we didn’t feel like that at all, maybe cause there weren’t many guests around at that time. The sleepers in the room were stinky but I brought my own so problem fixed. Breakfast was good but a bit boring if eating it more than once. Finding the place was easy but the road was bumpy and full of mud and since we booked a motorcycle getting there was a little bit difficult at least the first day. I appreciated the silence of the place and the safety. Gonna warn everyone about the WiFi access, get yourself a good data SIM card cause the WiFi connection doesn’t reach the rooms near the pool, and some might say you don’t need WiFi in a place like this.. hmm it depends, we needed it, to check the places we will visit the next day, book tickets, get some info, and even at the end of the day when exhaustion hits at least we felt like checking out phones after a long day...
