Nestled away on a island across a small foot / scooter bridge is min Hostel. Surrounded by friendly locals, small narrow streets with no room for cars and a picture perfect hang out area between a pond and the river/canal. ||Staff are amazing. They all try to speak English, happy to help and tell you about Nha Trang. Both girls who are the main point of contact speak great English and are very helpful. They helped us book bus tickets, motorbike rental and let us borrow bicycles.||The location is perfect. It’s out of the tourist Russian streets and in with the locals. They have a good clientele being friendly easygoing travellers. They are 5 minute walk to the Hindu temple. 5 minutes to beach. 2 minutes to an awesome local cheap restaurant and good location to rent a motorbike n go to the waterfalls. We also used the free bicycles to ride an easy 20 minutes to mud baths which they give u a discount voucher for. Exploring the narrow streets around was also great. And easy to get to bus stop to take local bus to ferry and get to tourist islands. ||They have a big open area next to a pond where you have you free breakfast which you can choose from 5 options. Vietnamese, western or Chinese style. ||Dorm rooms or private triangle shaped solid tents are available. Nice hot showers in typical Asian style above toilet.||I’d stay again. Favourite...
Read moreI can't really leave a review of the property - although I can say that it looked nice from the outside. I had booked to stay here for one night and had no problems arranging the booking around a week in advance. I arrived at the property pretty early after an overnight train to find the gates chained. I tried the doorbell a few times but got no answer. After calling the property a few times someone finally answered, only to tell me that my booking had been cancelled and was I not aware... They had emailed me at 6:30 the previous evening to tell me that they could not accommodate me due to renovations. As I was travelling I had no access to my emails, something I imagine applies to most travellers staying with them. On the phone they were less than helpful and were pretty rude. They told me they would come try to sort something out, I waited in the boiling heat for around 20 minutes for them to call back - they never did. I stayed in a very nice hotel on the beach front that I would recommend people look up...
Read moreSuch a lovely place! The staff here are warm, caring and eager to help you enjoy your stay in Nha Trang - they endeavour to call you by name and give you a welcome bottle of water which is a lovely touch and shows their level of effort!||The hostel is clean and very close to the beach and all bars/restaurants. The dorms are spacious and air-conditioned with lockers and very good wifi. The bathrooms are standard hostel bathrooms, but were always clean. The free breakfast was lovely.||The only gripe I have is I arrived at 6am after a 12 hour night bus - they specify check-in is available anytime if beds are free - but was made to wait 6 hours (!) to get into my dorm, and the hostel wasn't even close to being full. One or two other things I saw gave the impression that admin/organisation isn't their strong point, but this is easily forgivable as everything else is so...
