I've written this review after an extremely disappointing experience at Xom Con 79 in Nha Trang. If I could, I would give it 0 stars, and I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this place. The first thing that was unpleasant was the dishonest way they lure customers. As soon as we arrived in Nha Trang, a taxi driver enthusiastically "advised" us to go to this restaurant because the "food is good and the prices are reasonable." As we were leaving, we saw the same driver return to collect a commission from the owner. This is clearly a trick to lead customers in and exploit their lack of local knowledge for a kickback. The staff's attitude was completely unacceptable. Despite being a large group, when we ordered our food, the staff seemed annoyed and pressured us to order more dishes, with the excuse that "a big group needs to order a lot." We felt forced and disrespected. This unprofessional and arrogant attitude completely ruined our meal. As for the food, after all the hassle, it was nothing special. It was even inferior to many other casual local restaurants. The prices were not cheap at all, contrary to what the taxi driver claimed. In conclusion, from their deceptive business practices to lure customers, the terrible service, and the subpar food quality, this restaurant left a terrible impression. If you're looking for a place to enjoy Nha Trang cuisine, do your research carefully and avoid places that show signs of luring customers like this. DO NOT GO. A tourist trap. Wish I read other reviews here ahead. (Skip those reviews from vietnam names). We originally booked a seafood restaurant elsewhere. The cab driver we hired for the day (one of the blue cab company as told by resort) insisted we must not go claiming it was way overprice for tourist. After a long conversation, the cab driver took us here instead.
