Can’t recommend this boutique hotel highly enough. The hotel is stunning was amazing attention to detail and beautiful interior design. Our room is spacious and has everything needed, including a small mini bar, incidentals, robes and beach towels. The luxury for the price is unbelievable. Beach towels are also available and a two minute shaded walk to the beautiful Khem Beach. Plenty of restaurants serving a variety of food are a three minute walk away and in keeping with the luxury feel of the area. There are plenty of grocery stores with everything you need as well as local juice, coffee and food street vendors at Vietnamese prices for a quick bite. If you want to experience the area without the price and hassle of a chain hotel then you can’t go wrong staying here. I also have to add that the beds are super comfortable and the the area is so quiet it’s the best nights sleep I’ve had in Phu Quoc since arriving. The hotel is extremely modern as well with smart TV’s, wifi doors, safe, smart locks on the doors, rose petals sprinkled in reception and a wonderful fragrance subtly diffused in all the areas. I stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you...
Read moreWhere do we start? We booked this AirBnB last minute, as our other Hotel was horrible. We had some technical difficulties at first but Thinh helped us with everything, he was very forthcoming and overall the best host we have had so far! We can wholeheartedly recommend this stay to anyone staying in Phu Quoc, the room is stunning, everything is clean and feels wonderful. The beautiful bathroom has a great shower with many different shower options. Thinh also provided us with large beach towels and beach bags to put your belongings into. Everything has his beautiful designed label on it! La Grotta is located a very short walking distance to the beach which is not crowded at all so it feels like a private getaway. There are some restaurants around and Thinh also gave us some recommendations for vegetarian options. Overall, this was the best decision of our trip, to stay at La Grotta. We had the best time here and thank our host for this...
Read moreThis hotel is a study in understatement: white and brown, with curves that soothe the eyes. The owner, a young graduate, stays on-site. She's helpful, professional, and doesn't hover.||Amenities are conveniently close: spas, restaurants, bars, and the beach. Speaking of the beach, it's the best in Phu Quoc. Calm waters, little waves. If you crave waves, head to the western parts of the island with resorts like Camia or Anja offering terrific wave action. ||Rooms are simple but high-quality. Comfy beds, clean bathrooms, and showers with too many settings to mention. Big windows flood the rooms with light. Smart TVs with AirPlay are a modern perk. I’ll be back.||One potential downside: when off-season, the island is quiet—very quiet. Perfect for tranquility, but friends found Sunset Town and many other towns on the island to...
