We stayed at La Paloma Resort Phú Quốc for a few days and absolutely loved the peaceful, tropical vibe of this place. It’s one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special.
🏡 The Resort: La Paloma is small, quiet, and surrounded by greenery. The bungalows are spacious and decorated in a charming rustic style, with wooden interiors and a relaxing outdoor vibe. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and enjoying coffee on our little terrace.
There’s also a lovely pool area, perfect for chilling out during the hot afternoon. Everything is well-kept and feels thoughtfully designed.
💬 The Staff: Super friendly and attentive! The team here really goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Whether it was arranging scooters, helping us book a boat tour, or just chatting about local life – their hospitality made a big difference.
🍽️ Food Nearby – Try Midori Restaurant! While La Paloma has breakfast , we ventured out for dinner and found Midori Restaurant just a few minutes away – and it turned out to be one of our favorite spots on the island. They serve a mix of Vietnamese and Italian dishes – we tried their chicken curry, seafood pizza, and creamy pasta. Everything was super tasty and beautifully presented. Cozy ambiance too!
📍 Location: Located in the north-central part of the island, La Paloma is away from the busy tourist areas, which we really appreciated. It’s peaceful, but still easy to get to other spots like Ong Lang Beach or the night market by scooter or taxi.
✅ Overall: La Paloma Resort is perfect for couples or solo travelers who want a tranquil, nature-filled stay with a personal touch. And with Midori Restaurant nearby, you won’t have to go far for a delicious and satisfying meal. Would...
Read moreI booked a bungallow there in the begining of august 2016. People who works there are very nice, rooms are clean. Lady and her husband(i guess) speak very good english. Also food they serve is pretty good too. Bungallows are situated in beautiful maintaned garden setting with alot of fruits hanging around. Good place for relaxation. The place location is not excactly on the beach, but kilometer or two away from it. But that was not a problem. We rented their motorbike to drive around the island. The beach near bungallows is few minutes by motorbike and is very very nice. I was suprised it was not crowded at all, only few people there. Beach is next to the Coco Palm resort. The only thing i dont like about the place is, its situated right off the main road which can be busy sometimes, but that was not really big issue for us. One more thing, first motorbike we rented was not in so good condition, but we replaced later with the second one which was way better. They have free wifi, but it was not great. Overall i recomend this place, beautiful gardens, not far from beach and i will come again when in Phu Quoc, forgot to mention price was very very affordable...
Read morewe spent 5 days here at the beginning of January. It was a very bad experience, even though we had booked 2 rooms when we arrived there were not any available in the structure, so we were transferred to another hotel (Coco Valley) with the promise of having our rooms available the next day at noon . When we showed up the next day there was only one room available, so we were forced to spend the night in a quadruple room. Finally after 2 days we got our rooms! This is not all, because every day we asked at the reception for two rented mopeds but mysteriously for us they were never available, while when others asked them they were always there. We also gave the front desk some dirty clothes to wash on Friday, the owner told us they would be available the next day, but Tuesday the clothes had not been washed, so we had to take them somewhere else! It is also unacceptable that a person in the structure does not speak English and does not even try to understand you!||It's really a pity that such a nice place is run by such incompetent people and does not know how to...
