Green Hat Holiday — Attraction in Phú Quốc

We did the private snorkelling tour & by far the best snorkelling tour that I have been on. It was a pleasure to meet the lovely Phuong who was our tour guide.

The trip started at an island of Phu Quoc where we did snorkelling before going to another spot for some more snorkelling.

Phuong knew the area well & we saw some amazing coral reefs & schools of fish. It was truly beautiful.

I would recommend taking the food option along with the trip as that includes a superb freshly made barbecue seafood, seafood fried rice, fried fish & tropical fruits.

For lunch we went to a beach where Phuong & Mr. Day barbecued the seafood & we had a great time sharing stories & food with them.

A special mention to Mr. Day, our speed boat driver who was always around to ensure we were in a safe environment.

My 8 year old son was not that interested in the snorkelling after the second island & we were quite happy to leave him with Mr.Day on the boat who looked after him.

After lunch we went to another island for snorkelling which was beautiful & had a lot of sea urchins.

All in all it was a day well spent. I felt that I had gone with friends rather than a tour all thanks to the wonderful hospitality shown by Phuong.

We had a fantastic time with Phuong from Green Hat Holiday whilst visiting Phu Quoc this week.

During the “Discovery of the North” tour we visited a pepper farm, took in a temple via kayak on the Cua Cun river, had a fantastically tasty, typically Vietnamese, fresh seafood lunch in a Floating village restaurant (which we would never have found ourselves!) and called in at a wonderfully tranquil bee farm.

Phuong was informative, outgoing and fun throughout. She was also very quick to respond to all enquiries/emails when booking online in the days before, and kept us “in the loop” at all times.

We did the cooking class with Phuong as one of our Honeymoon activities. We enjoyed every bit of it! From shopping for ingredients early at the wet market, to cooking at her garden full with coconut trees, and then enjoying the delicious food we cooked while playing with her lovely dog.

We learnt more about the Vietnam culture in this cooking class than anywhere else. Puong was like a long-lost friend who can talk to you about any topics. She also studied tourism so she know exactly how to take picture for us at the market. We truly enjoyed our time with her and would high recommend this course to anyone, regardless of your cooking level, because you will learn much more than...
