Lilac Cottage Homestay — Hotel in Phú Quốc

The cleaning was barely done. It was dusty under the bed and near the bed (see the pictures attached). Both tables were dirty, I had to clean them with wet wipes. And on the bedside table there were cigarettes butts from the previous guest. The AC hadn't been cleaned for ages. When I opened it, not only was there dust, but there were also two dead beetle bugs (see picture). There was mold on the ceiling. It would make paint come off the ceiling, and it would fall into the AC. The toilet seat had stains on it (see picture). I didn't dare sit on it. There are two dogs living at the property: one small one and one huge one. They get excited in the evening, from my room I heard them bark at people throughout the evening. I was already asleep when at 8.45 pm I was woken up by a karaoke nearby. It went on until 10 pm. The reception was a total mess. Looked like a warehouse more than like a reception. Lastly, although it is not the fault of the property, it is impossible to call a motorbike taxi to there because there are no drivers around. Your only option is a car taxi, which makes getting around very expensive. Also note that there are no restaurants or shops around (all of them...
