From Day 1 of our stay, there was no air conditioning in the villa’s common area on the ground floor and 1st floor. We stayed there 5 nights, until check out, the air conditioning is not fixed!
On Day 3, we woke up and no water in the villa. The house keeper fixed this and we have water in the evening.
Day 4 it’s a rainy day, water began pouring in from the 4th floor down to the ground level. The villa manager clearly knew about the water leakage—he panicked when it started raining and urgently told us to close all windows and doors. This proves deliberate negligence: they rented out the villa despite knowing it was unfit for rain. This wasn’t just a drip; it was like indoors raining, requiring 3-4 towels per floor to soak up the water.
The next day, flying ants swarmed the villa due to a massive crack under the front door. When we return to the villa the scene was horrifying—ants covered the floors, bathrooms, everywhere. The kids were terrified.
The villa manager was polite but he cannot do much, as these were structural issues. Yet the owners continue renting it out—shameful behavior.
The owner later apologized via WhatsApp but blamed everything on “natural disasters". I completely disagree. Rain and flying ants are natural, but leaky roofs and gaping door cracks are poor maintenance, NOT acts of nature.
One room’s toilet clogged one of the days. We notified the manager immediately, but no one came to fix it.
On the final night, another room’s AC suddenly broke with a loud crash!
