We stayed at the Grace Boutique Resort for two nights at the end of December 2019 until New Year's Day 2020. We were just passing through the area during this trip to Vietnam, but we had been to the resort in January 2016 and just had to experience it once again. In 2006, we thought it was the best boutique resort we had stayed at during our trips to Asia and this time, it surpassed our expectations once again. I apologize for writing this review late, but I decided to wait as I just finished my 3 month trip through Vietnam and Thailand and wanted to compare the Grace Boutique Resort to other hotels & resorts I was staying at in Asia.||||All of the other positive TA reviews on this resort are very accurate and out of all the hotels and resorts I have been to in Asia over the years, the Grace is my favourite resort to stay at when I want to relax. It is the only resort where I truly forget all my worries and attain total peace of mind, my personal Nirvana!||||The entrance to the Grace Boutique Resort is unassuming from the street, but once you walk into the garden area and then through the lobby, you see and experience the beauty of this small piece of paradise. The resort was renovated with a new addition of several sea front rooms, all with sea views and the breakfast / restaurant area is now on the ground floor under the sea view rooms. The grounds are still immaculately kept with flowers blooming and a gorgeous large infinity pool overlooking the East Sea.||||We stayed in one of the new sea view rooms and it was simply beautiful, very comfortable with everything you could ask for. The best part of being in this room was having my morning coffee on the open balcony where each morning I watched in amazement at the local fishermen out in their boats. The sunsets and the sunrises are also an incredible bonus when staying at the Grace.||||Our breakfasts were included, lots of different items to choose from, loved the coffee and noodle soup. The staff were friendly and very efficient. I opted to stay at the resort this time for my lunches as the seafood pizza is out of this world, the best I have had so far in my travels through Asia.||||What sets the Grace apart from other resorts or hotels, is the incredible personalities and chemistry of the owners Van and Loan. When staying at the resort both times, we have received amazing hospitality and exceptional service. But the personal attention than Van and Loan give to all their guests, is second to none. During this second visit to the Grace, we felt like old friends or family being reunited. This was not just our belief, but also the belief of the other guests we spoke to while at the resort. Van and Loan hosted a New Year's Eve dinner and invited all the resort guests. It was a very nice relaxing affair and during our conversations with different couples, it was clear that most of them were also repeat clients who also came back because of the ambience of the Grace.||||The Grace Boutique Resort is without a doubt the best small family run resort we have ever stayed at during our travels through Asia over the years. We find it to be incredibly peaceful and relaxing, the service and ambience is second to none. When we return to Mui Ne / Phan Thiet again, we will definitely return to this resort and highly recommend it to...
Read moreThis was our fifth trip to Vietnam and our first time in Mui Ne. It’s a long coast stretching many kilometres and the Grace Boutique is ideally positioned in the middle of the main bay, close to so many excellent restaurants, bars and other facilities. It’s a family designed, built and run resort, that is graceful and boutique in both name and nature, offering serenity and a peaceful stay amongst beautiful garden and sea surrounds, in what can be a very busy place. ||We stayed in a Seaview room that includes a private balcony and unobstructed views of the beautiful Mui Ne bay. At sunset, the views are truely spectacular and the sound of the waves through the day and night is very peaceful. It’s nice not to be surrounded by loud music and large groups, if you are here to relax and unwind. The rooms are immaculate, spotless, well maintained and spacious including a great shower with good water pressure. The surrounding manicured gardens are beautifully maintained, full of colour and features an elegant selection of plants, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The infinity pool is exceptional, the views out to sea are spectacular, it is beautifully clean and wonderful to swim in, then relax poolside on one of the many banana lounges to the side of the pool. We found the experience so relaxing it was hard to leave the infinity pool, it just doesn’t get much better than this.||It’s great to have a morning walk along the beach, there are plenty of great restaurants, bars and facilities nearby and if you take a taxi or scooter, there is the fantastic Chua Thien Quang Buddhist temple a short drive away. ||The breakfast selection is good the food is fresh, tasty and sets you up for a great day. From tasty mini croissants, a selection of fresh fruit, to chicken or beef pho, to omelet, cereal, bacon and eggs, with freshly squeezed orange juice, tea or coffee, it was great.||Your hosts at the Boutique Resort, Van and Loan are absolutely wonderful, as are all the helpful and dedicated staff such as Lyn, Tao, Phomb and Le (the night watchman with the biggest smile in Mui Ne). We were treated so well, made to feel like part of the family and were welcomed so warmly - that we looked at the many big resorts around and though “Thank goodness we chose the Grace Boutique Resort”. Van and Loan will give you great advice on what is good to do in the area and can also give you some great movie recommendations! Thank you for such a “Van-tastic” time Van and Loan. ||We can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return. We hope you enjoy your stay as...
Read moreHave just spent 12 nights in this beautiful boutique hotel.||This was a last minute booking for us, and if honest, had never heard of Mui Ne. Our hosts, Van and Loan made our stay one to remember.||We had an ocean front room which was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the balcony was a perfect spot to sit and listen to the sound of the sea.||Loan and Van invited us to share lunch with the family, which was delicious, and one evening they took us into Mui Ne Town to enjoy some street food and to have a couple of beers at a local venue. Every now and then, if we were sitting by the beach they would bring over a delicious fruit drink, which was most welcome.||Mui Ne is basically a long strip dotted with hotels, resorts, and places to eat and drink. There are lots of places within easy walking distance of the hotel, and if you want to go a little further there are plenty of taxis outside.||The only reason I haven't given a 5 star review is that as there were very few guests, there was no bar or lunch or dinner service. Most days we went out so it didn't matter too much, but it would have been nice to enjoy a drink by the pool, or an early evening cocktail before venturing out for dinner.||Other than that, everything was perfect. Go and enjoy Mui Ne before too many people...
