Between 2018-2019 I stayed here more than a dozen times with my family and friends. It was nice staying here because of the location and the swimming pool is kids-friendly. The furniture is old and heavy. It takes 2 adults to move the dinner chairs, imagine having 3 kids at the dinner table... The morning buffet is OK, but the quality needs improvements, also the menu hasn't changed the last two years, but they have changed the chef so the food is not as good. Lately, it has gone from bad to worse. The resort now has many Russians guests and other tour-guests so the "high standard" has been lowered significantly. Their new pool-towel system isn't convincing and convenient for the guess! The service is very very very very slooooow. Make sure you have an hour+ by the pool if you order "fast food" to the swimming pool. 50% of the times they get the booking wrong (even tho they, the staff, try hard someone eventually mess things up). Alot of staff but management is nowhere to be seen.... If you have smartphone/tabs/iPads etc. remember to bring a powerbank or an universal adapter for charging your devices... It will take you 3 hours+ to watch a 1 1/2 hour movie on Netflix - that's the WIFI when it works... After spending another night here I decided to go with 2 stars. Our family had the dinner buffet and it is from 18:30 to 20:30, we can down 19:00 and already then they didn't put out more food. The icecream will be removed 20:00 (in most countries, icecream is for dessert). Why? The problem with the resort is that they can't attract Vietnamese guests because we want value-for-money and can not be eaten of with cheap exotic fruits. Surely, the resort now focuses on Russian tourists, so it will now not have returning guests...
-----27/02/2021----- Update: So my friend wanted to stay here so we gave it another try at 1.2tr a room.
So they spent a few months for "renovations". Actually all the rooms, wifi, services etc. remain the same. They painted the front and lobby. The guests are now 98% locals and the food (morning buffet was awful). How do you serve Phở without tương đen? You shouldn't! No omelet? No bacon? Old and chopped sausages? Who gave you 4 stars😅 There is clearly no management team or they just...
Read moreDecent hotel on the main road, we found this last minute as a result of extending our trip in Mui Ne and there weren’t many other options available as most other hotels were fully booked due to the lunar new year holidays.
Reception staff were very helpful and even upgraded us to a seafront room which we weren’t expecting, with a comfortable bed, facilities were clean and they have two swimming pools as well. The local area is full of great restaurants, spas, and a very friendly laundry lady who even helped us book our bus out of Mui Ne to Ho Chi Minh when everyone else told us all buses were fully booked!
I have to say breakfast wasn’t the most pleasant experience. Firstly their timings are quite absurd if compared to most other places we’ve been to (6:30-8:30am), but it also felt very chaotic due to the lack of any food labelling, staff packing things up before time, and just general disorganisation.
There was one very friendly lady (must be one of the owners or managers) who was very attentive towards us as she probably noticed we were a bit lost, and I think without her we genuinely would have struggled.
As we only stayed here for a night it was all OK in the end, but if some of the cons I’ve mentioned bother you then I suggest booking one of the many other alternatives in the area...
Read moreThis is more like a 2-3 star hotel that could easily be a 4 star if they put more care into it. They have quite beautiful wooden floors and furniture in the rooms, but the room itself could be in better shape. The doors are very hard to open and we only had 1 keycard per person in a double booked room. The sockets for plugging in electronics were oddly "loose" and the plugs would fall out without some sort of support. Although it is a beach hotel, they didn't provide any robes or umbrellas in the room. At one point the water in the shower didn't get hot and I had to take a rather cool shower. There were also quite some mosquitos in our room, as a person with a mosquito allergy I wouldn't stay here again, but for the average person it's probably ok. The reception holds on to your passport until you leave. I understand that this is standard procedure in some places, but some people might be uncomfortable with that. The pool was clean and perfect for swimming. Breakfast was okayish but only from 6:30-8:30. The Access to the beach was great, although they seem to close the gates at night. Many Restaurants within...
