I thought I was booking Seahorse I got the names mixed up as they are owned by the same company, look similar and are in the same road only 10 mins from each other! Great mistake though we loved the hotel, the staff were the friendliest we have found in Mui Ne we have stayed in 6 hotels over our few months here. The rooms are a good size and AC was good. TV was a bit weird some days they had Box Movies some days HBO and some days an Asian Chanel in English never all on the same day though? Breakfast was very good I loved the bread station I could actually cut my own bread toast it and spread on butter delicious!. The big pool was great not loaded with chlorine and good for a proper swim there was also a smaller pool but I didn't use it. Lots of sun beds round the pools and on the beach my only gripe is that they have like an envelope system at the top of the mattress to keep it in place but nothing at the bottom so the mattresses flap about in the strong wind also the towels don't tuck under the mattresses as they are a bit small so they flap around too (a very small moan this did not ruin my stay here!) if your a kiter its a big beach area and a really good kite school VKS is on the section of beach at the hotel. The beach bar was great fab cocktails its a shame they didn't to happy hour as I think it would have been a nice meeting place for hotel guests. Sealion has a few local restaurant nearby, the main strip is about a 6 min walk away if you want European options. We had a great time here and...
Read moreWARNING - No value for money. We paid extra money to stay in the deluxe double room with a "sea view", only to find out that the view was virtually non existing, the bathroom sink pipe was leaking so the floor was always wet, the room itself was quite large but the design was balky and sad to look at. The pool area was fine at large, but the sunbeds were old and some were even broken, the mattresses were all wet from the rain that came down before (no planning to keep things dry I guess), and the most annoying part is, that for some reason they're not giving out towels, which suppose to be a basic thing to give in such an expensive resort. But we asked for a couple of towels from the reception and they were happy to help. As for the food, the selection for Vietnamese food is large, the selection for other things was - fried eggs, bacon and bread and that's it, literally. The buildings in which the rooms are, are very dark, brown and overall depressing. The staff was really nice and kind and they are the only reason I will give this resort any star. Overall, I'm sorry to say I do not recommend this resort nor I will...
Read moreThe location is convenient and the green garden with coconut trees helps much to cool down the heat, making it similar to an oasis for everyone, guests and staff. The staff here is so beautiful during our stay, especially 2 active bartenders Phuong Thao and Quan at the pool bar. Thao brought me 2 mandarin oranges when we were enjoying cold drinks at noon to cool down the temperature. On the next day, the cute bartender Quan scooped out the coconut meat and put it on glass for me even I didn't expect that, they said they wanted the guests to enjoy their self-growing coconuts fully ( the coconuts are sweet and big actually). That's so lovely my boyfriend is so happy with their service. The food is good at the restaurant as well but they close quite early at 8pm. The staff is always smiley and helpful. The only cons is the messy view of chairs set up on the beach and no one there to remind people to put rubbish in the...
