Please bear with this long review — this property and its incredible team truly deserve every word.||||We decided to spend our entire Vietnam stay at Anantara Mui Ne, and boy, was that a brilliant decision! This place doesn’t just offer luxury — it offers heart, warmth, and genuine care.||||The Heart of Our Stay – Ms. Be||||No words are enough for Ms. Be, our butler and one-point contact throughout the stay. She was simply amazing. Anything we needed — literally anything — we just had to message her on WhatsApp. She was always there, quietly ensuring that everything was perfect, yet never intrusive. She even went out of her way to get a bag of rice for my daughter, who had an unfortunate incident with her phone. Every evening, she would pass by our villa to check if all was well, without ever disturbing us. The level of service she offered was just incredible.||||Arrival & Check-In Experience||||We used the hotel transport from the airport, which was extremely comfortable. The welcome at the resort was beyond anything we expected — not only were we offered refreshing welcome drinks, but also shoulder massages! Since our villa wasn’t ready yet, we were comfortably placed in another room for an hour. When we finally moved to our two-bedroom pool villa, we were welcomed with a cocktail, and from that moment on, everything was flawless.||||The Villa – Thoughtful Luxury Redefined||||Our villa was stunning — spacious, elegant, and designed with thoughtful details at every corner. There were two entrances, a temperature-controlled pool, and all the little touches that make such a difference — mosquito repellent, torches, umbrellas, towels by the pool, even water bowls to rinse your feet before entering the villa. The beds were incredibly comfortable. When we mentioned the lack of lighting in one of the rooms, a new light was installed immediately. One thing that really impressed me was how every staff member removed their footwear before entering — such respect for culture and such attention to detail.||||Housekeeping – The Unsung Heroes||||The housekeeping team was, without doubt, one of the best we’ve ever experienced anywhere in the world. Every evening, they provided a beautiful turndown service and left behind little local sweets. Their consistency, warmth, and quiet efficiency made a huge impression on us.||||The Pool & Beach||||The main pool was fantastic — spotless and always attended to by friendly lifeguards who were happy to chat and help. The pool bar offered light snacks and refreshing drinks, perfect for lazy afternoons. The beach itself was pristine, calm, and ideal for long walks or quiet reflection. Watching the sunrise here was nothing short of magical.||||Breakfast & Dining – The Culinary Highlight||||Breakfast was the icing on the cake. The spread was just brilliant — I don’t think we’ve seen a better one anywhere. The variety of cheeses, breads, fruits, local dishes, teas, coffees, and mimosas was mind-blowing. We often spent nearly two hours at breakfast every morning! Lunch was hardly needed after such a feast, and dinners were equally impressive with delicious à la carte options. Tran, who took care of us during our meals, was wonderful — always attentive and kind. Every member of the team here doesn’t just aim to satisfy you; they genuinely want to delight you, and that’s what makes the difference.||||Spa, Gym & Other Touches||||The spa was good but didn’t quite have the same magic as the rest of the resort. The team there was professional, but the experience could be warmer and more personalized. The gym, on the other hand, was excellent, though it could use slightly better lighting at night and perhaps one more bench. A small suggestion — it would be a lovely touch if departing guests were offered water and a small snack for the drive back to the airport.||||Final Thoughts||||This was our first Anantara experience, and what a way to begin! Every single person we met at this property went above and beyond to make our stay special. The level of hospitality, care, and attention to detail was extraordinary.||||Anantara Mui Ne, you’ve set the bar incredibly high. We left with full hearts, completely relaxed, and deeply grateful for an experience that was nothing short of magical. We can’t wait to visit more Anantara properties around the world — but Mui Ne will always be the one that...
Read moreUnique, beautiful and consistently attentive friendly staff making my honeymoon a 5/5 experience. Resort’s limo pickup at Cam Ranh airport was easy-peasy as can be with our very funny driver 🤣 Mr. Thang holding up the Anatara Resort sign. We hadn’t planned on taking any local tours to the sand dunes due to Anatara’s large property and beach, until our driver encouraged us to and I’m very glad he did. We booked the next days guided tour through the resort & visited the local and very Interesting 🦀 🐍 🐟 walk on a sand stream/creek with many beautiful nature photo ops along the way. All safe, no worries on the local critters😅. Later we went to a local fishing port to learn about the trade & finished the 3-4hr tour at the beautiful sand dunes, riding an ATV & took tons of memorable pics. Our tour guide Mr. Nam was great, all booked through the resort.
The property is nature & forest themed with all sorts of Vietnam fruit trees making you always want to pick one and eat, and we did. An example of attentive staff and cleanliness of resort is when you walk by ripe fruit droppings from the tree, when you return in the same path, the fruit has been picked up by the staff to prevent insects and smell. Many birds, squirrels, and a pond with tons of fish that you can feed with bread from the main restaurant. The decor within the resort is also beautifully consistent to the theme of nature/forest including the private pool villa we stayed in. Our private pooled Villa was beautiful with an outdoors shower and soak tub that was perfect and relaxing at anytime we needed it. The high humidity and heat of Mui Né was no match for the AC in our Villa, always being able to cool down our room in minutes when we returned.
The community pool is enormous, clean, and well equipped. The breakfast buffet is world class with delicious food including pho 🍜 and other Vietnamese noodle soups. The beach is very clean and well kept. The morning sunrise is beautiful from the resort. The evening seafood BBQ is also a must when staying at Anatara.
Overall 5/5 resort, staff, decor, nature themed with native birds, trees, and exotic plants. Upper management always smiled and asked us how we were when seeing us in the 4 days we were there making us feel as VIP as can be.
American owned by entrepreneur William E. Heineke, one feedback for Mr. Heineke is the inclusion of some American cities like Chicago on the resorts directional signpost on the beach. Chicago, where I’m from should be added 🤣👏🏻. It had Maldives, Bangkok, and some other southeast cities, but no...
Read moreAn update on my review. First of all thanks to Tri-Huynh for the replay I appreciate this. There has been changes during my visit in the hotel. The cleaning service was improved. The service improved so the guests did get drinks and snacks served in the pool area. Updates in the dining area inform of new furniture which made the dining area look more fancy and elegant, nicely done! I was there for Christmas holidays and Christmas eve at the hotel was was fantastic. Santa came with presents, Great show with traditional dancers and a young singer with a big voice. The food was overwhelming so much food with lots of variety for everyones tastebuds. To summarize I like the hotel. It has great potential I may have to visit it again. Thank for your hospitality and good service
The hotel has 5 stars are they worth it? All depends on what you expect when you visit a 5 star hotel. For me it is excellent service, hospitality, cleanines, good food, fantastic surroundings, great rooms, some staff that can understand you (speech skills) and so much more than I can imagine for the extreme amount of money spent on the 5 stars. In my opinion this hotel is not living up to my expectations. The room is just a standard room, should be upgraded and it needs cleaning, there are also problems with the toilet. The food is nothing special. The hotel offers no entertainment and not much service. The surroundings are nice but missing the wow factor. Everything in this hotel is over priced! The massages they offer at this hotel cost 10 times more than the massage place just across the street. The food is just to ordinary to be such an expensive meal. I can find better food in the streets, for less than half of the price. They don't serve you complementary drinks, snacks or water in the pool area . I have not yet meet any staff that can communicate with me even when I speak simple common English words. All in all I think this place is too expensive for what it offers and it needs an update, better service and perhaps some staff that at least...
