Hotel Novena — Hotel in Vung Tau City

Novena Hotel (worth 3 *)||- Located at 302 Phan Chu Trinh, Ward 2, Vung Tau. Only Two minutes to Back Beach. Located in a prime location (famous tourist beach in Vung Tau).||- There are many convenience stores, grocery stores, and restaurants around the hotel.||- Rooms are small but bright and clean, equipped with modern and well-functioning equipment, free tea, coffee, and mineral water. The floor is eye-catching because it is quite new. Room 2 people but put 3 sets of towels (maybe 1 to go to the beach) quite impressive about this.||- Staff friendly, happy, and welcoming. Protection 24/24, the motorbike parking area is locked at night, it is quite safe.||- What bothers us is the hot water problem: it takes a long time to wait and especially at night, it is not available. The next problem is about window blinds (using stickers instead of zippers - quite inconvenient and located high, not suitable for people of modest height).||- With a competitive price and prime location, I am sure that I will...

We came here last weekend and find this location is very convenient to go to the beach or travel to other places in vung tau. They have brand new everything and the amenities are very sufficient and useful. The staffs are mostly friendly, especially the security guy is very helpful and nice. One of the receptionists at the check in date is not at my expectation. She makes phone call with manager during receptions, no hospitable emotions like smiling or welcoming. We stayed in a twin room with excess people and we did pay for the additional fee but we need more adds-in like towels, water bottles or whatever in your services, we she explained that she can't give us more as the standard of the room. It's ok that we do not have these things but the feeling of hospitality is not really high in term of customer service. There are rooms to improve this. Located at the Back Beach & only took me 15 steps from the hotel to the beach.

Lots of food around and minimart also exist nearby. To reach the city center you have to walk around 25min, however it’s only 8min with taxi.

When i first entered my room, the floor a bit damp - i think they just made up the room not long before i arrived. Other than that everything is nice.

Loving the shower type & the pressure where it’s not that high (cos sometimes other hotel have this really high pressure shower which is hard to adjust). The towel is not the really fluffy one type though, but i can’t complain looking at how low the...
