Marina Club - Cafe & Lounge — Restaurant in Vung Tau City

Good location and nice place but something wasn't quite right. The bottled beer I ordered bubbled up and flowed out of the bottle for an eternity when I cracked the lid off. Not just like it had been shaken, but like a really weird dodgy beer of some kind, it just bubbled and bubbled and bubbled while one of the staff has to stand and keep wiping up the mess with a cloth.

Secondly, I ordered chanh soda (lemon soda) without sugar. The guy came back with a can of soda water, a glass of sugar syrup, and a plate of sliced lime, then told me he doesn't really understand the menu and maybe I need to make it myself (????????). For 80,000vnd I wasn't really keen on that so asked him to take it back - I ordered a drink not a science experiment.

Update to this: Bill just came in and they charged 55,000VND for a bottle of water. It was marked as Pepsi on the receipt because apparently water and Pepsi are the same price. 55k for water or Pepsi is an absolute ripoff. More expensive than the beer. What a weird, crafty, extortionate...

The hotel of Mercure Vung Tau is actually separated into 2 parts by Ha Long road. Most of the facilities like gym, swimming pool and restaurants are located on the beach side and this is also where Breezes Restaurant of Mercure Vung Tau is located. Breezes Restaurant at Mercure Vung Tau actually serves up a wide variety of cuisine, including Western selections like Pan Seared Salmon, Barramundi Fillet, Roasted Lamb Rack and Angus Beef Tenderloin as well as pasta, pizzas, sandwiches and burgers. They also serve up local delights such as sauteed tiger prawns, pork spare ribs in caramelised fish sauce as well as live seafood and soups. As we had already tried out several seafood options at Quach’s Seafood Restaurant previously, we decided to try out Lau – the local hotpot option…

I had the pleasure of dining at Mercure Vung Tau's Marina Club & Lounge Coffee for the second time, and once again, it was a fantastic experience. The F&B service here is top-notch, and I want to give a special shoutout to Ms. Liên and hostess Ms. Giàu for their exceptional hospitality. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

Moreover, Mr. Đạt, Mr. Cường, and Ms. Quỳnh were equally attentive and contributed to the overall excellent service. It's evident that the staff at Mercure Vung Tau takes great pride in providing a memorable dining experience.

I highly recommend Marina Club & Lounge Coffee for its outstanding service and delicious food. My second visit was just as enjoyable as the first, and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you to the entire team for making my dining experience truly...
