What a great day trip! We were staying in Buenos Aires for a few days, and decided to book a day trip to Tigre to explore the area. Right after we booked a trip with Enrique, we got a list of very useful tips from him about our stay in Buenos Aires. The trip felt like a “VIP type of service”. Enrique came to pick us up at the hotel, on our way to Tigre we stopped at the bakery where we choose freshly baked pastries for our later picnic on the boat, we drove to the marine and from there started exploring the area. Enrique took us to some not touristic places, pointed out to interesting houses, taking photos, all this when telling us stories about the area, people and Argentina in general. Wow! What a perfect experience! Enrique is such a wonderful human - and so generous with information about Argentina, Buenos Aires, Tigre, the River Plata, and of course, his beloved Delta! I cannot begin to express how flexible he was with our changing plans and changing weather patterns... I ended up going on my own when my husband could not - and I felt like I was out for a day with an old friend! The Delta is fascinating - I was introduced to a whole world I did not know existed - and enjoyed the lovely boat at speeds both fast and slow! Even on a hot day, the breeze was delightful. I saw fascinating homes along the banks, several local species of birds, and some of my favorite dragonflies! (But not one mosquito!) I wish there was a 10 or 20 rating to give! Enrique is such a nice, caring guy. He gave us the best experience on the Tigre Delta. An amazing service Enrique includes in his tour, is a pick-up (and return) from your accommodation which takes the stress out of finding your own way to Tigre. We and our friends were at different hotels and Enrique kept us up to date with our pick-up times according to traffic and was exactly on time. The journey from Buenos Aires to Tigre in Enriques car was comfortable and just like a personalised tour of the city and Tigre. A snack is included in the tour, and on the way, Enrique stopped at a bakery, and we selected our own pastries for the snack. We felt comfortable and safe with Enrique at all times during the tour.
