Have been here once before and this place was okay. I came in today with my family and we sat ourselves- as it is a cafe and there is no hostess up front saying otherwise and we were stopped by a waitress who told us there would be a wait. 3 tables (all side by side) were open. I asked how long of a wait and she said we were the only ones on the list. I then asked if we could put two tables together and she said it couldn’t be done. I asked why and no explanation was given. We asked to pull up a chair, also no. I asked why there was a wait if there were open tables (in a already packed cafe) no explanation. Having worked in hospitality myself the priority is the guest and for a regular cafe there shouldn’t be a wait, it would be understandable for an actual restaurant that is organized and accepts reservations but not a place like this and it seemed even more ridiculous to not just put the tables together and get us seated when there are plenty of other places to go to. The staff was rude and not accommodating and we weren’t expecting much as we aren’t tourists in Argentina we are from here and this has never been an issue anywhere else. Will never go again and will tell anyone I know going to this area...
Read moreYou can’t miss it: it looks like Barbie opened a café after chugging a Red Bull. It gets as packed as a bus during rush hour, but somehow, a table always opens up—either inside or out. The menu has more options than I have excuses to skip the gym. I went for the Chipá Waffle because I couldn’t decide between sweet or savory… and neither could they: it’s half snack, half breakfast, and 100% delicious chaos. The service was polite but robotic—though honestly, with that many tables, I’d be on autopilot too. The Wi-Fi is so good you could set up your office there—if it weren’t for all the people constantly photographing their food like it’s about to walk the red carpet. You can pay contactless, but don’t worry—your wallet will...
Read moreBoth the place and the food (cakes) are nice, just not all they are hyped up to be. If you go in without particular expectations, you will not be disappointed, as there is nothing bad, but you also will not get (in my opinion) anything memorable. I had the Sienna Cake (Torta Sienna) and it was good. Just not as good as you can get cakes and pastries in many other cafes and bakeries around, and it also was more expensive due to both the place and the neighborhood being very trendy at the moment. This is the kind of place I would go back to without hesitation if I was passing by it and it was, for instance, late at night, when everything else (of this kind) is closed, but it is not a place I yearn...
