Bought a small wok from the Ingle Farm shop, took it home cooked a small stir fry for myself and noticed the wok had burnt on the inside and underneath. When I took it back to the store I was told that I should have used grape seed oil and cooked my stir fry on low to medium heat. I asked how I was supposed to know that and I was told that I should have read the instructions (there werenât any). She argued that the instructions must have fallen off but when she checked the others In store she found that none had instructions. When I questioned her about it, I was informed that I should have asked the person serving me. I have been cooking for over 50 years and know that a stir fry CANNOT be cooked on low heat and her arguments were ridiculous. I wasnât able to get a replacement or my money back. And they were new in the box. I took them back and spoke to the manager Janeane. Who was so rude to me she said every swear word under the sun. She stunk like a chimney so I think to my self is she a manager or a sailer anyway. I asked to a refund because I didnât like her tone or abuse. So I asked her to treat me with the respect I was giving her to then be told to get out of her shop. Or she would pull one of the rusty knives out of the block and make me get out. In a very rude abusive way. I am going to contact head office as no one should be treated this way please go to a different shop people no one deserves to be treated this...
   Read moreI went to the store to purchase a lid for a pan, i end up having troubles with it, it has a glass section and where it joins to the metal liquids get caught in between it and goes mouldy you can't clean it properly so I went back to by a different one and tried to talk to a young lady about it thinking she would be able to help me and listen to me but halfway through me telling her she did a instant 180° and just started talking to someone else and totally ignored me she didn't say sorry either, it wasn't like I was talking long at all, I bought another lid thats a slightly different design also with a glass section without any assistance and or advice and have now discovered it has exactly the same problems as the last one so im very disappointed and will never come back...
