Bamboo House — Restaurant in Adelaide

Being a regular costumer for many years the Filipino cuisine like dinuguan, lechon kawali, bangus are just some of my favourite and other delicious foods available in the front counter like stir fry, grilled chicken and BBQ pork aka Tocino are some of my fav, has always been to its standard. They are fresh, well presented, many varieties to choose from esp the dim sims its the best one I've tasted compare to many I've tried. From kebabs, spring rolls and esp the banana fritter which we call Turon delish! Never have I encountered any bugs, flies etc on the premises. Price wise it's worth it. I mean everything goes up these days can't control inflation. Good to sit with friends or family tables can be arranged if in a group. Staff are friendly, helpful and always smiling. There are also groceries, frozen goods available which is a plus coz while the food is cooking we look around what we can snack on like polvoron, chippy, clover chips, or even somethin to cook at home like loganisa, Filipino hotdogs, fish and many more. Food: -Sisig tastes so good. -Pinakbet is delicious but too oily -Quite confusing because the food they sell in front are not Filipino food but Chinese food. -To eat Filipino food you have to order from their Filipino menu list and it will be cooked for you.

Negative: -It's confusing if they have EFTPOS or cash only business. Our friend bought earlier from them and he paid card but when it was time for us to pay for our meal, the girl cashier paused and asked something to the owner first then the owner 'apologized' and said we pay cash. Quite shoddy in my opinion. -I think their price is too expensive

Service: -The young lady at the counter was super nice -The owner (I assume) was cheerful but because of the EFTPOS issue, I'm thinking she can't be trusted really.

TIP: -If you wanna buy food from them, ask first if they accept cash or card -When ordering from their menu, ask first if the one on the menu list is the actual price. I Highly...

No stars at all if I can. Worst service ever. This is the first time I made reviews because of the service me and my friends had with this establishment.

*Rude owner! Told one of my friends if she's pregnant. She's not even close to. Just gained a bit of weight. Her self-esteem was depleted after. I mean, c'mon, if you don't have any nice thing to say, just don't say anything at all. She doesn't even know my friend that much. Doesn't really treat her customer well. Unprofessional customer service. Mean to her staffs. They don't pay their staffs right. One of my friend worked there before, she said they want her to work insane hours without pay for those OT. Also, during training hours, she worked the whole day without pay. Dirty place. We once saw a cochroach on the floor while waiting for our takeaway order. Put us off.

My parents are filo and they stopped going here....
