It is one of the very popular tourist attractions in new south Wales.

The Three Sisters play an important part in Aboriginal history. It is a real life story. Three Sisters were known to the pioneers as Faith (North Sister), Hope (Middle Sister) and Charity (South Sister).

It's a must visit place when you plan a trip in New south Wales. Approx 2 hours drive from Sydney. If you are not driving you can book a day trip with Greyline or AAT kings, they operate tours from Sydney. If coming via public transport take a train from Central station and get down at Katoomba. It's approx 10 mins bus distance from Katoomba station.

Highly recommend...

The three sisters were both disappointing and inaccurately named. While many peered into the mist, no sisters of stone could be seen. If not for the local hero wearing a cape and  mask like a modern day Bruce Wayne, we would not have located the one remaining sister standing forlornly in the car park (see photo). The last sister while small on stature, will remain big in our hearts. It is believed the other sisters have disappeared due to climate change, much like the destruction of the nations indigenous population by Sir Lachlan Macquarie, and his...

Blue Mountain is such a wonderful place. Honestly I didn't expect it was like this. When you arrive you have a great look view to the mountain and hills around and it is very spectacular! I walked from the train station to the look point and then from the look point to the first mountain. It was a nice experience and i advise to friends and families. The three Sister is a place to visit one time in your like because is such a gorgeous place. Amazing view and spot from the look point. And you can walk down for a second point view between the...

Nature is incredible- and the 3 sisters are a great example of our amazing and unique our Australian landscape is. We visited several times over the weekend we spent in Katoomba, and were blown away by the change in the colour of the landscape at different times throughout the day. There are plenty of hiking trails if you want to get down into the Jameson Valley and explore further. It’s absolutely worth a visit if you are in the Blue Mountains.
