Amazing view, but make sure you only buy a drink. We had a meal here yesterday and if we weren’t so starving I would have sent it back to the kitchen. The wagyu beef burger was 100% microwaved and even then it was cold, the cheese wasn’t even melted and it sat on the patty. Not to mention the stale bun that had been grilled to try and freshen it up. The chips tasted like they had been left under a heat lamp for three hours and even they were cold too. This was up there as quite possibly the worst meal I’ve had in NSW, when a meal is that bad, you can’t help but tell people about it. Updating this review as I’m definitely not trolling. The food was disgusting, the 5 star review has got to be the owner. Yes the view is one of the best around, but you’d be better off sneaking in a vegemite sandwich and just getting a beer. Great view and protected from rain. Food was ordinary. I had the Brisket Burger, Soup of the Day, Jager Snitzel. They didn't meet my expectations. Bun was dry, meat was tasteless and lack any smoking flavour. Soup of the day "Pumpkin" was extra spicy and didn't have the usual cream on top. I believe it was more of after though having the sesame seeds sprinkled on top. The bread was very chewy and almost stale. If you are going to serve bread it should be at least a sourdough with butter. Given the price was $17 AUD Jager was not what I was expecting, generally the mushroom sauce is generous and flavoursome.

The staff didn't appear to enjoy how lucky they are to work in a world heritage location.

Absolutely Horrible Experience

This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. The food was beyond horrible—bland, cold, and unappetizing. The fries/chips were soggy and tasted terrible. To top it off, the service was atrocious.

I waited over an hour for my food and spent more than 30 minutes in line just to place the order. When I realized I wanted to add a Coke to my meal, the staff rudely insisted I go through the line again. Despite my repeated requests, the response was a dismissive “Sorry, can’t help.”

The lack of basic courtesy and customer service is shocking. Pair that with unhealthy, low-quality food, and this place becomes a nightmare. I strongly advise against wasting your time...
