Having a precalculated price in mind and giving a list of items to the lady at the desk is normal. They said a wrap was unavailable so we switched to a more expensive option of 2 burgers and 3 wraps, and then 2 bottles of water and 1 mocha. Was the menu above modified to tell others that some items were unavailable? No. The total should've been $120. (edit: Due to an additional surcharge of 20% the total added $24 ontop, but I was not notified of this price jump). Was there's a receipt printed? No. Was there a double check of the items collected in the noisy waiting area? No. Trays were not provided so the likelihood of dropping the food while elbowing your way through the congested queue area was high. Searching for a spot to sit was easy, as either we resort to standing-only tables or tables outdoors where a glass wall separated the sounds of the busy interior with the tranquility of the outdoor forest. Summary: Delicious meal. The outside area is the best place to be, especially in peak times. Double check your hot drink is yours before going away in case someone else does, as cups aren't marked. Parking? Try finding it

The fries (chips) were perfection. The burger was gross with some sort of crunchy onion scattered throughout, I couldn't eat it. Had I known that was in there I'd have just ordered the fries, which I highly recommend. They were light and fluffy inside and deliciously crisp outside, great mouth feel! My boyfriend had the burnt ends. Please do not get excited, these are not American style Burnt Ends, in fact there was nothing "burnt" about them. They looked like sliced pot roast in a red sauce. I tried a bite and gagged, clearly the red sauce is closely ketchup based. I had the Hill Billy pear cider which was just OK. The bartender said it was local, made "just down the street", turns out that means 21 miles- had it actually been just down the street we may have taken a look.

Food is terrible and overpriced. I order chicken honey burger and came out the chicken doesn’t look appetising and black. Complain to the chef and mentioned it is black and Overcooked, ordered it for my kids and they definitely can’t eat this burger. I requested for a new chicken burger as the burger he sent out was not good to be eat as the chicken was cook to long and burn. he was refused to do it at first, I said to him I am my self is a chef, I know what good chicken burger is. Then he quickly answered he will make another one. For a black chicken burger with chips for $29 was overprice 👎 If you want to selling chicken burger with chips for $29, should you able to provide quality food! Definitely not come back!

Here's my experience of "Restaurant 1128" i.e. the upstairs restaurant at the lookout: we were first asked to wait in their waiting area while they performed less than a minutes work with PLENTY of free tables One staff member, barely capable to carry a cup of coffee, insisting that, no, YOU didn't order a latte, YOU ordered a cappuccino, with a replacement latte that never came. And the lattes that came were horrible and watered down. Getting the SOGGIEST chicken imaginable that had clearly been microwaved and NOT grilled WITHOUT the replacement side dish. Could not even eat a bite of it. A Salad that was 70% roquette with ingredients that were tasteless and limp, possibly canned. Disproportionate wait times for different meals. Parmasen cheese on fried sweet potato that DOES NOT GO! Blatantly flagrant wording of a $16 sweet caramel and chocolate tart which was actually a chocolate tart the size of a coaster with a hapless drizzle of caramel. Confused wait staff almost annoyed to serve meals knowing FULL WELL they are awful!

Expensive, horrible service, go...

We thought we would treat our Mum to a nice meal in the restaurant. What a BIG MISTAKE THAT WAS. We ordered our entree of pumpkin soup with bread for three and a waldorf salad. There were 4 of us. The bread tasted stale, the bowls were shallow and large, if you set your spoon down on the edge it would fall into the soup. This happened three times to our 94 year old mother and twice to myself when breaking the stale bread to put into our soup, and when puting our spoon down to take a sip of wine. Our main meal arrived, my son had the crusted salmon dish which still had the paper on top of the salmon. We enjoyed the view but the noise of ? 100 tables and maybe at least 200 chairs dragged along the wooden floor to set up for a large function was not ideal to enjoy our meal which was at 1pm lunch time. There was no thought to applogise for our discomfort. We had an verbal appology for the paper, needless to say we will never return and I certainly would not recommend this...
