Rudest service ever. Got some chips and asked for chicken salt, opened chips and they had regular salt. Went back and asked if i could get some chicken salt as the chips had regular. The guy starts getting all ansy, saying 'chicken salt is our default, bring them up here', he then makes me open the whole bag on the counter, shows me the two salt shakers and says 'this one is chicken, this one is plain, you tell me whats on the chips". I picked up a chip and said 'here its white its the plain salt' (i could also see that there were some other chips in a different area that had a tiny bit of chicken, they are clearly filling the chicken salt with both salts so its cheaper). He then grabs the plain salt, pours a heap of it next to the chips and says 'what colour is that' while basically putting his fingers all over the chips while pointing to different ones. To sum up, I was left with the whole bag of chips opened on the bench with whatever was on his fingers all over them, and more plain salt on the chips. Best fish & chip shop within a 5 - 10 minute drive from Coopers Plains! Generously sized battered flake, dagwood dogs (battered sav), & potato scallops. Batter is delicious, crispy, & with the perfect amount of good old-fashioned greasiness (back when grease wasn't an issue as fish & chips were an indulgence on the odd occasion, & not something you'd buy "every other day" - as so many people tend to do nowadays). Battered flake was perfection. The only let-down were the chips which were like when you reheat (microwave) leftover chips that were refrigerated overnight; edible but not in the same league as the flake etc. Definitely our new go-to shop for the occasional fish & chip night, though we'll likely order extra potato scallops...

Called the number above to find out the exact address as google maps led me to a different location. Lady who answered the phone just kept saying “you going to make order? You going to make order?” as I kept asking “Yes but I need the address so I can come and see the menu” then she hung up on me. I called back, with “You just hung up on me but I need the address of your store” so she gave me the address. When I asked what shops are you close too cause I’m at this location and can’t see you” she just said “you going to order?” then hung up on me again. Disgusting customer service.
