I thought carefully before leaving this review as it isn’t something I would usually do.
My experience today was well below what I had hoped for, and unfortunately you guys have a lot to work on when there is a fantastic kebab place just a few doors away.
The shop was empty, the guy serving me appeared to have no real customer service skills with no warm greeting (smiles and warm greetings cost nothing)
I commented on the old yellow lettuce that looked like it had been there for 24 hours, I was ready to walk out before even ordering.
I wanted to give the place the benefit of the doubt, unfortunately I wish I hadn’t.
I ordered a regular kebab and a Pepsi, thought the price was a little high at almost $18.
The kebab was wrapped with paper multiple times which was folded back in to the inside of the kebab, the lettuce and onion tasted old and didn’t appear fresh, I think that the kebabs are not finished in a press as mine simply fell to bits, I walked over to the park and tried to salvage what I could of the kebab as the fillings were dropping all over the floor (better that than in my vehicle where I had planned to eat it). Ultimately I gave up and threw it away, then went and bought a pie from the bakery nearby.
Sorry guys, it wasn’t a good experience for me, and looking at the other reviews… the negative reviews all seem to have taken place within the last 2 months.
Hopefully things improve and I’ll l check you out...
Read moreThe only reason I’m giving it 2 stars was because the Kebab was actually half decent in terms of just sheer taste, but aside from that the experience has pretty much solidified our unwant to return
Firstly the guy was cutting us off while we were trying to order and because of that wasn’t paying full attention and didn’t write down the extras we asked for yet charged us for them. And then put onions on one of them after being explicitly told not to
Secondly the chips were burnt, the cookers temp is wrong and they needed to replace the oil because they were disgusting, terrible flavour and as I said burnt….
Thirdly they triple wrapped the kebabs which makes a mess and is a huge waste of paper but also they don’t have a kebab press, so the kebab isn’t being held together and it’s just wrapped in those 3 layers of paper which makes it hard and messy to eat which makes it not enjoyable.
They barely put any cheese on the kebab and silently judged me for the customisation I did to my kebab.
Don’t recommend going here at all, I wish we could get our money back
Edit: response to the owners reply, if there was a kebab press it would have been used, it was not, the chef never used it, he cooked the bread on the stove top and then folded the kebabs after and put them in the packet - 0 kebab...
Read moreJust returning from ordering a kebab meal.
Shop: There was one person ahead of me in the line, with only one worker. I understand with only one person working it takes a little bit of time to make my meal, but it took a good 25 mins, I was almost going to ask if my food was still coming.
The food: Got my food and headed home (short 5 min drive) when I got home I was excited to eat my kebab.. That quickly changed when I realised it was cold... I was starving so I ate it anyway. The kebab itself tasted nice I just wish it wasn't cold considering it took 25mins to make. The kebab also falls apart, they don't use a sandwich press to finish the kebab before wrapping in a lot of paper, why? My chips were no better, warm at best.
Drink: Pepsi can was cold and the best thing about the experience.
Would I recommend?.... No, there's better places to eat ... especially if you're...
