This venue is close to the train station and local shops. One of 3 in the Black Milk family where they showcase their own roasted beans. Homey vibes with a great spacious layout, lounge out the back and reading nooks. The food is ok, basic cafe menu with room for improvement. Can be busy at times with increased wait time on food and coffee. My last visit was good, friendliness was initiated by me, we weren't greeted and the only costumers to enter at the time. As it was quiet, coffee was fast. The coffee was just not as good as ground zero at their roasting venue up the road, missing the punch. For a coffee business I feel the coffee should always be on point but here it's hit and miss. The extraction was too coarse, it just didn't hold the flavour. Another letdown is no disability access and lack there of. It alienates several of us in the community and our friends and family that are elderly or with physical disabilities. All in all a great local and popular dog friendly ...

Black Milk was a nice experience to meet your brunch cafe needs. Coffee was ok not too bitter or burnt flavour for a double shot however my flat white had a good amount of froth on top which is forgivable. Coffee can be inconsistent depending on the barista. Their takeaway coffee was extremely hot even though I didn’t ask for it to be made extra hot I had to wait a while for it to cool down to a drinkable temp at least 60degrees which is what it should be initially served as unless requested otherwise. Mine burnt my tongue on first sip enough to have been textured to 75-80degrees. Had to wait at least 20mins until I...

I recently started coming here as a good friend told me to check this place out from work. Great coffee and staff. I am however quite taken back by the cook. Very disrespectful on more than one occasion after Patrons leave the cafe. Also seen him at the Oxley tavern asking for cannabis and Amphetamines while in a state falling all over himself. I understand we all have a private life but feel it's best to know who we are dealing with. I guess the old saying is don't fear the ones that beat or steal from you. You know there intention Worry about the ones who whisper sweet things in your ear and...

Delightful Early-Morning Gem What a find! This charming cafĂ© opens nice and early—perfect for early risers or anyone needing a quality coffee to kickstart the day. The coffee is excellent, consistently well made and full of flavour. There’s a small but delicious selection of cabinet food, including gluten-free options, all fresh and tempting. The menu is limited but thoughtfully curated—simple, tasty, and satisfying. Service is top-notch. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, creating a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. A great little spot that's definitely worth a visit.

Local cafe and roaster. After being in Sydney recently I can say our coffee is great and we are fortunate not to be crammed alongside each other. BMC offers good food, service with brilliant coffee. Kudos to the owner and his staff, my favourite Barnstaple who's name escapes me is irreplaceable. Coffee 5/5 Service 5/5 Atmosphere 4/5 i like the music they play. Highest rating i have given.
