PapaDos Fish and Chips — Restaurant in Brisbane City

My regular fish n chip shop was closed. I rang Westside Seafood I was given a blunt reply by the guy on the phone when he told me he could do chips. I was ringing for a person with a medical condition who needed some protein, could be do a piece of fish? He hung up on me! Does not deserve business !!..How obnoxious !

So I called Papa Do's on the of chance of a better result. A lovely lady recommended her sea bass when I asked for her best fish. I also ordered calamari and chipsm She said they would be ready In 5 minutes. I jumped in the car ...my order was ready and I couldn't fault a thing t!! The chips were hot, crunchy. My meal was packaged in a box and white paper, served with salt and lemon . The sea bass in batter was lovely, moist and fresh. The calamari rings were fabulous! Tender, flavoursome, crunchy . Really I couldn't fault a thing. The food was not greasy or oily and didn't sit in my stomach afterwards.

Very surprised to find another great fish and chip shop. Sorry I couldn't find the takeaway menu online.

Certainly just a takeaway venue although there are tables at front. I must say fabulous fish-and-chips!! I I will return for sure. Thank you for the great fresh and crunchy food and polite,...

Have had cod and chips here in the past and it’s been lovely and crunchy batter. This time around it was so extremely soggy almost like it had been cooked last night and then microwaved today. I called up to request a store credit next time I come in. The lady sat there in silence on the phone after I had finished politely explaining what was wrong with the food compared to my previous experiences. No apology was provided. She offered to re-make it today but of course I am not going back right now while the rest of the food gets cold, I’ll fill myself up on chips thanks. So I again asked for a store credit next time I came in and she seemed to agree but then declined to take my name stating she will remember me… doubt it. This place seems very hit and...

The best fish and chip shop in Oxley. Mostly what you’d expect, nothing fancy however that’s not a bad thing. The staff are super friendly and so exceptional on their customer service. Catering to your needs, they exceed in making sure you’re well looked after. Food is always consistent and on point. Cheap prices and great serving sizes. Chips are nicer than your average takeaway. Burger options are delicious, I keep coming back (Chicken Schnitzel burger is yum!). Plenty of variety on the menu boards. The wait isn’t too long either, 10 minutes max. So glad to see this place keeps busy and the community is supporting their local...
