All I wanted was to get my partner some twiggy sticks from the Deli tonight. & the not so lay like âladyâ straightaway told me that theyâre the exact same as the packaged ones, I told her I wanted the unpacked ones & she again said the same thing. On top of that across the whole interaction right from the very start she used a a horrible tone towards me. Thereâs specific reasoning behind why I wanted what I wanted, I shouldnât need to explain that to you. Youâre employed in a customer service role, Iâm not one of those âthe customer is always rightâ idiots but why are you trying to argue me against the specific product I chose. If you donât like your job make a change, donât take it out on customers. Maybe choose a different line of work where you donât have to interact with people so much.
I ended up just walking away so I wouldnât start carrying on. Went to Northlakes got the exact same product I wanted & didnât get argued against it.
If some kind of manager would like to reach out...

Then came my turn, didn't even greet me and had a sour face on the whole time then handed me the receipt to gesture that she was done, no bye either. Not to mention her stink attitude towards 2 of her fellow coworkers who were trying to ask her a question while I was waiting in line. She spoke right Through Me and At Them! Then she barked at the foreigners behind me to hurry up and put their items on the conveyor belt even though there really wasn't much point because there wasn't enough room with all of my groceries still taking up much of the space (they were being polite). I've always found the staff at Coles so hands on and friendly but this has put a bad taste in my mouth. Find a new job if you hate yours so much or just hire better people for the store front and keep the grinches out the back...retraining...
Read moreI was at Coles Coolalinga store on 31st May 2022 around 6pm, with my client who is a wheel chair. We went to the deli, we were served by a staff member that was a female in her 30s or 40s. My client tried to ask for some ham. However, the staff member proceeded to mock my client and said, I quote, "You need one of those kidy trollies with the flag so I can see you." The staff member proceeded to laugh. Myself and my client were pretty shocked and baffled. We then left the store. My client broke down in the car, through her tears she explained to me why it was upsetting. It was the fact that she was being made fun of in a public setting by one of your staff members. She was also concerned about how other people with disabilities are being treated in your store.
This behaviour is not acceptable and maybe your staff need to be reminded of how to talk to people from all walks of life.
Myself and my client have left formal complaints through your customer...
