Cakes were absolutely delicious and fresh. We had the biscoff cheesecake which was so light for a cheesecake and the little surprise in the centre really elevated the flavour. The Swiss roll was incredibly light and fresh, I think it was the days top pick. We also had the orange and almond cake and the lemon and blueberry pound cake. Both very flavoursome and moist and very fresh.

If I can make a suggestion, it would be great to have a self-service type of water stand. Cakes are sweet and coffee is dehydrating, some water for people to serve themselves would be a wonderful addition. The wait time today was a little long as it was very busy. That's ok and understandable however if the cakes were labelled with a name and the price, it would mean not every customer would need to ask the girls what the cakes are and the cost. I know you change the cake flavours regularly, but a little handwritten card would be all thats needed so customers can choose what they'd like while they are waiting to be served. Otherwise thank you for a very indulgent and delicious cake selection. I'm a cake lover and always prefer cake to pastries, so its amazing to have a store that does just cakes, and...

This cute corner cake shop is an absolute delight! The light and airy atmosphere, complemented by high ceilings and a spacious layout, makes it a lovely spot to relax. The service is top-notch—welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to explain the available treats. I tried a variety of goodies: the red velvet and raspberry chocolate cupcakes, lamington mousse cake, passionfruit cake, and caramel roulade. Each one was delish! The cupcakes were perfectly moist, the mousse cakes were smooth and flavorful with well-matched bases, and the roulade boasted fantastic flavor with a soft, non-hollow sponge.

This place is a great find, and I’ll definitely be returning to stop in and enjoy more treats with a tea. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Back a week later! This was my second visit, and it’s quickly becoming a favorite! I stopped in for a quick morning tea and enjoyed a cheese and chives scone topped with cream cheese—absolutely delicious and satisfying. Ignore the glowing reviews left by friends and family. We tried the new cafe part of this business and were sorely disappointed. We paid $17.50 for a single coffee and slice of cake, prepared to do so, as this was a "specialty cake shop" - The late' was terrible (made from powder) and the cake tasted factory made (and was very dry) - the service was just as ordinary. More staff then customers, yet somehow they still took a VERY long time to get our take-away order to us. With NO parking available and only seating for a few, I would strongly recommend any of the many Pakington street or Shannon...
