We stayed at unit 60 cabin for four nights during the flower festival in 2019. We paid roughly $500. It is peak season and accommodation is tight. The location of the park is in the southern part of town in a residential area. The park itself is not that large and it feels a bit cramped between buildings and parking spots. The cabin is probably at least 15 years old. The total occupancy can be 4 (maybe 5) with the use of bunk beds and a pull out. The main bed is a queen and takes up a lot of room next to the bathroom. It is not possible to walk past the bed without side stepping around it. The bathroom is very shallow and just fits a shower, a toilet, and a sink. I would guess it is about three feet deep. This means the sink has the taps on the side. It also means the shower is very small. The most annoying thing about the shower is that it has the nozzle at just under six feet. This makes it difficult for a taller person to fit under. Comparing against other cabins at other places, this one stands out as being smaller than average and not as well laid out. The item we had the most trouble with was the fridge. It took awhile to figure out what was going on. The first problem was that was not keeping the food cold enough which led to dairy products going off faster than expected. The second problem was a mysterious chemical (cleaning?) smell that was strong enough to influence whatever we put in there. We did not bother to report anything since it was not serious enough to justify going down to the office. It was tempting to mention the fridge but it is doubtful that it could have been corrected before we left. One last mention is the locking mechanism on the sliding glass door. It seemed a bit too loose and did not boost confidence on how secure the cabin was. On the positive side, the park’s location was great for shopping. Also, the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for the shower. It was relatively quiet at night. The park is gated so it felt secure. The overall problem was that expectations were not met and it seemed a bit expensive. Hopefully you...
Read moreRacist , rude and aggressive manager. Going on some previous reviews it seems a common thing. We were there as part of group with 2-3 cabins. Our cabin intentionally left our car outside to accommodate an elderly lady and her carer to join our bbq dinner. From our cabin it’s too far to walk to bbq area so they drove the car down. Car was not hindering any others at all. The two managers male and female approached and asked who’s car. The carer instantly jumped up to move car with out question. This man and the lady are well known to the 12 odd of us all and 100% stand behind their characters. The carer was verbally attacked once at car and away from group (TYPICAL) accusing him of CASING THE JOINT and the cops are coming so get out. Again he did as asked by removing car from property and had to walk in to ask the elderly lady we need to leave now making her walk out with him under the threat of embarrassment. And yes the police car turned up briefly too. I’d like to know how a simple move your car turned into police called and being accused of malicious behaviour. RACIST MUCH. THE PARK IS NOT WORTH RATING IF YOUR NOT COMFORTABLE. GO READ ABOUT PREVIOUS RACISM, RUDENESS AND AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR TO SEE IF ITS REALLY WORTH RISKING YOUR MONEY. And to answer what our group was. Two families, one young couple , 3 teenage boys under care of us while in Toowoomba for a karate tournament. Previous rebuttals from management to help ….I’m not the person that booked I’m one of the attendees, and to say you act quick against idiots now . THE IDIOT IS THE ONE HANDLING...
Read moreI would NOT recommend this place. I contacted them days before arriving to say that we were going to be arriving after hours and I requested that the after-hours check in info be emailed to me instead of text, as I was coming from NZ and did not have an Australian phone number (their policy states that a SMS message will be sent so you must have an Australian number).|I heard nothing from my first email, so I emailed them again the day we were due to arrive. I received a reply from someone in the office stating that my after-hours check in would be no problem and that the info would be sent to me vis SMS at 4pm that day.|I never received anything from them, despite providing them with my my email address and NZ phone number. By the time we landed in Brisbane it was 10pm. I tried to phone them, but no one answered. So there we were, two adults and three children, stranded at Brisbane airport, with no way of accessing our accommodation in Toowoomba. We ended up having to pay for a night's accommodation in Brisbane and travelled to Toowoomba the following day. I reached out to them twice following our stay to express my dissatisfaction at their lack of communication and requesting a refund of the first night's accomodation, however no one ever responded to my emails. Extremely poor service and far too expensive for the very basic facilities they provide. Do not waste your time...
