Lancelin SEAFOOD Fish & Chips — Local services in Lancelin

The fish and chips here are quite possibly the best fish and chips I have ever had in Western Australia (and the world). I came here in August, 2023 (about a year before the date of this review) and I absolutely loved the food here. The chips are exceptional, hot, fresh, and crunchy, and the fish was also of such incredibly high quality. I wish I could have the fish and chips right now just thinking about it and writing this review. I loved everything about the food here. The serving sizes are amazing and although I wasn't able to eat it all, I was able to share with my family. :) You can also enjoy the food at some nice benches outside the shop.

I have been to several other restaurants in Lancelin and this is easily the number one choice for me. The only unfortunate thing is that when I came here last year, I believe the opening hours were longer (at least according to Google) because I came here during lunchtime on Saturday. I actually planned on coming to Lancelin (from Perth) on Saturday afterwards with eating lunch here a big incentive, but Google says it is closed now on Saturday afternoons. :( The fish and chips are so amazing, I would definitely drive from Perth just to have these. :) If you are ever in Lancelin and Lancelin SEAFOOD Fish & Chips is open, then I give my absolutely highest recommendation for the food here! I have attached a photo of the fish and chips I got so you can see how beautiful it looks and the serving size.

Thanks so much for responding! :) I just wanted to clarify (and also to those reading the review) that you were always open whenever Google said you were! I didn't mean to suggest otherwise in my review. What I was trying to say was that your Fish & Chips are so amazing that I wish you were open more but that was meant as a compliment! :) I totally understand you are a family business and that restricts the opening hours (which are already quite generous anyway).

In fact, I just saw that you are now open on Saturday afternoons according to Google (I think earlier Google said you were closed then, which is what I was referring to in my review since that is the time I last came to Lancelin to have Fish & Chips (when you were open :)) but at some point since then Google changed the opening hours to say you were closed on Saturday afternoons, so because of that I didn't make the trip down on Saturdays since the last one). In light of this, I am very excited to come to Lancelin after a year and try out your amazing fish & chips again on Saturday afternoon!

The fish and chips is good it's certainly fresh fish, I wouldn't reccomend any of the extra items like squid rings or crabsticks they are very generic.

spend the money on extra snapper or shark.

It's only open for a few hours so the carpark can get busy and the staff get alittle flustered but otherwise good service, Check your order before you leave, they can leave items out by mistake.

Excellent niche spot to go for a feed and for some supplies.

It sits a stones throw from the water and serves as the towns, servo(gas station), bottlo(alcohol seller) and any bits and bobs that you might need, that they have.

It is an excellent place to stop and have some "fish & chips"; thier calamari was excellent and the "insert fish here" (possibly snapper) was excellent too.

Hand down the best and only fish an chips in town and the only purveyour of alcohol. Good feed, reasonable offer in wares and...
