We had such a lovely lunch at ‘Off Shore Café’ in Lancelin! The vegan burger was absolutely delicious, paired perfectly with a really good coffee. My husband was happy to see plenty of vegetarian options too, which he really appreciated. The café itself is super cute, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We loved that there were a couple of groups of locals catching up for lunch – always a good sign! The staff were very pleasant and helpful, making the experience even better. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available and it’s only a short stroll to the beach. A great spot to stop and enjoy some good food in Lancelin. 🌊☕🍔

This place is a bit odd. It’s a scruffy cafe, near the beach, in a small town. Yet the fish and chips was $18, however we were assured it was resteraunt grade, which is weird given we were in a resteraunt. The food was delivered by a lady with shaking hands complaining of pneumonia- so you’re instantly uncomfortable eating the food. It has that “you’re lucky to be served by us” vibe. The chips were good, but hard to taste the fish through the batter. I dunno, maybe I’m being picky. After $18 for fish and chips they then wanted to charge me $0.50 for tomato sauce.

We went there in the morning with a big group of family including 6 young children. The quality bakery/cafe WA style food service was a little slow because it is cooked to order, but it was well worth the wait. I really liked the tables. The tables were made of solid 6mm black steel plate bolted to four solid steel legs. The steel was treated to prevent rust and presented a clean semi smooth finish. Authentic (quality) aussie cafe food served in a no fuss laid back way. Well worth a visit. Not open on Monday or Tuesday!

Absolutely DISGUSTING how we were treated today, my friend and I walked in around 12ish and were looking at the price boards, when the young lady at the front of the shop yelled at us for walking where she'd just mopped. We obviously sincerely apologised and changed our course so as to not continue walking on where she'd mopped, however she proceeded to complain to another customer, about how she 'didn't know why she bothered to put the "wet floor" sign up when nobody looked at it.' When my friend and I were trying to figure out what we'd like to have (bearing in mind there was NO OTHER CUSTOMERS WAITING TO BE SERVED IN THE ENTIRE SHOP - should've seen that as a sign) the same young lady abruptly asked if we'd made our decision yet, and when we politely answered that we had not yet, she went away in a huff to the kitchen and talked to her mum. When I went to get a bottle of water from one of the fridges, I noticed that the floor must have been mopped there too, so I made sure not to step on the wet floor and instead bent over it to retrieve the bottle to avoid another loud reprimanding from the young lady. And when I was ready to order I was treated like I was a hassle to serve. As someone who works in customer service, I would say that this young lady would not have a job save for the fact her mother works there too. May I suggest you don't mop up half the floor of the shop when its lunch time and people will obviously be coming in for food - its common sense. Will never be...

I read the big sign with bold text recommending to ask the staff for recommendations, as they don’t do refunds. I should’ve seen the red flag right then and there. I crept up to the hot food container like a moth to a light. My eyes immediately went to the curry pie but after my two allies recommended a pepper beef over the curry I chose that. At first I thought I could take it. The overly peppery pie immediately cleared my sinuses and began to burn my lips. I like hot stuff though. It wasn’t until half way through my exchange with the pepper beef that I began to deeply regret my decision. It must have been an accident or the culinary wiz in the kitchen needs to be assessed for their stability. My stomach is still burning from the peppery flames within the black mush of the pepper beef. That black mush felt like a never ending vortex, as I kept eating to make my 6$ worth it. I wouldn’t recommend and I’m scared of the consequences that will follow after this. PROCEED WITH...

We visited the Cafe during a weekend and it was busy and i was the only one asked if I had my vaccination certificate..The two persons previous were not even asked...There was a 45min wait on food due to being busy..Staff attitude was not the best. Last week we popped in as it was a weekday and asked for 2 bacon egg wraps and was Informed that there was a 30min wait ... I questioned why and was shouted at from another server not even serving me that the grill was full and that's why there was a wait... the Cafe had 2 tables waiting. There was no need for the server not involved to shout ... seriously it seemed the Cafe just wants you to buy the defrosted pies and sausage rolls from the warmer.... clearly the grill must be a small one... I guess my expectations from the first visit were reconfirmed. This cafe is not for us which is a shame as it is in a great location across from the amazing...
