Just completed the 5 day Takayna Explorer - Forest to Sea with Trek Tasmania. Our guides Zoe and Angus were excellent - we were so looked after, well informed and well fed with their delicious meals. They always attended to the group with care, consideration, humour and patience. They were very knowledgeable about the terrain, wildlife and history of the area. Waking up on Tiger's Ridge with only the sound of the birds and trees was truly magical. No other humans and no internet. Bliss. The tents are spaced widely apart to really give you the chance to be alone with nature. The diversity of this trip makes it special as you move from Tiger Ridge into much different terrain on Mount Donaldson, to the beauty of the coastal Tarkine at Point Rupert then on to the spectacular Pieman River. This was my 2nd trek with Trek Australia and I would highly recommend. Looking to book my 3rd....

My wife & I have just completed the South Coast Walk with 6 others & our 2 fabulous guides Mikki & Mitch. It was as challenging as expected and a trek we were grateful to have experienced guides (both in excess of 10 trips) The scenery was superb and the terrain ever changing, with some long exhausting day it was a treat having our lunches & delicious dinners prepared for us. Would highly recommend Trek Tasmania and their knowledgeable guides....
