Venue: Alfresco is in front of the jetty with a bridge over a river. An opposite entrance has some free carparks. Spacious. Cozy atmosphere. Decorated as a seaport. Causal setting. Bright and clean. Background Music. --- 7.7/10 Service: friendly staff with smiles. Very welcoming. Tap water was provided when seated. Attentive. Served very fast. --- 7.7/10 Food: Fusion cuisine. Good presentation. Good portion of mains. Reasonable prices. - Smoked Salmon & Scallops Risotto, $39: There were 5 mini scallops and a good portion of Tasmania smoked salmon. Creamy sauce. Rice was cooked well --- 7.5/10 - Calamari Salad, $36: big pieces of Calamari were very crispy but not rubbery. --- 7.6/10 We came next night: - Oysters, $30/6pcs: 3 dressing choices. We picked Ginger spring onion with Ponzu sauce. Oyster were fresh , but some had sands. No flavor of ponzu. --- 6.7/10 - Amok Curry Seafood, $39: served with rice. Good portions of Tassie Scallops, Prawns, white fish, Salmon. Non spicy curry sauce. --- 7.3/10 - Sticky Tasmania Salmon, $38: large portion of salmon was cooked well. Potatoes and asparagus were good as well. --- 7.3/10 2 Scoop in cup, $9: There are about 12 flavors of a local brand displayed at the front desk. I picked Chocolate Hazelnut Gelato and Raspberry Sorbet. The scoops weren't very big. Chocolate scoop was smaller. Texture and taste were good.--- 7/10 Crème Brulee, $15: served with a large, crispy, and thick biscuit. The top was thick and crisp, but slightly burnt. The crème brulee body wasn't very rich but silky. A lot of vanilla seeds in it. --- 7/10

I have had the pleasure of dining at "Levee Food Co” multiple times, and each visit has reaffirmed its status as a premium, yet affordable, and family-friendly restaurant. From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted with an ambiance that effortlessly balances elegance and comfort, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The menu at Levee Food Co is a culinary masterpiece, offering a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes, from sumptuous steaks to delectable vegetarian options. What truly sets this restaurant apart is their consistency in delivering exceptional service. Every time I've dined here, the staff have been attentive, friendly, and accommodating, especially when dining with my family including young children. The affordability factor pleasantly surprises me every time we receive the bill. You get a premium dining experience without the premium price tag. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a quality family meal, Levee Food Co consistently delivers top-notch service, delicious cuisine, and affordability. I can confidently say that it has become our go-to restaurant for creating cherished memories through exceptional dining experiences.

This is the first time at this restaurant and I’m blown away by the food and service. I struggle to find a good Gluten Free pizza base and this is honestly the best I have ever tasted. A light but crispy pizza base that holds its own under the weight of the toppings which were ham, pineapple and onion. I love it so much we’re booking for dinner again tomorrow night. The Sticky Date Pudding was also fantastic and made a great finish to a great evening. Would recommend to anyone, and we will be back again. ******* We came back for a second time on the Sunday night, I had the pizza again which was just as awesome as last night, but my husband had the Crumbed Scallops with chips and salad and he thought they were as good as he’s ever had. I thought I would try the Jaffa Cheesecake. I was not disappointed, tasted so good and topped off with cream and ice cream. A perfect end to our weekend away, can’t wait until the next time we’re in Launceston.

The front of house female attendant on Sunday evening 30th October 2022 ignored us for 10 minutes waiting to be seated I asked her for our table and she abruptly said she was too busy totalling dockets and will get a waitress to take us to our booth Talbot when available. Then at 6.25pm, 25 minutes after arriving I had to ask a table cleaner if we could order a drink and food he informed me he wasn’t a waiter but would find someone, 10 minutes later we finally got service. I asked when booking for a booth table but the table we got was like a chicken coupe against the glass doors looking directly onto the public outside with no privacy and we both felt so uncomfortable with people glaring in from outside… we felt like manakins in the Myer Christmas windows… one waitress serving outside was so efficient and we wished she was serving us, the others inside never smiled they looked totally miserable and looked as though they didn’t want to be working…management need to look at this business deeply, no professionalism no warmth… staffing needs to be revalued with people that want to smile and be courteous and not make the customer feel lowlife.. disgusting experience from start to finish… management need to employ Gordon Ramsey to fix what you are doing so badly… I have never experienced anything like Levee world wide… never touch this place again used to be good but they have lost the plot….take the money and run attitude.. you may get the customer once but this customer they won’t get twice certainly was not worth the $100.. ruined out...

Was really disappointed. My glass for water was foggy, and it had something stuck to the bottom of it that hadn't been washed off. The cup my coffee came in was heavily stained with scratches in the stains, though the coffee was well made. The meal I ordered wasn't available with my dietary needs, so I had to keep changing my order until something was found. I usually order off the kids' menu as I don't eat much, and they usually have safe options for me, but theirs is for 13 and under only. They said the steak was the only option, and as I didn't have a price available as they'dtaken the menu, I assumed it wouldn't be that much more. It was double the price of my previous order options. They also hadn't amended my order when I paid and nearly charged me extra for sauce I didn't order. I understand not having food options available when allergies are involved, but to be stuck ordering a nearly $50 meal, which was a steak with a few salty chips and a small amount of veggies, and no discount with the reduced sides, seems pretty unrealistic. I've never been somewhere that didn't allow ordering off the kid's menus, as they are supposed to be cheaper for the smaller portion, and it really threw me off. Needless to say, I won't be returning. Staff were very nice, but I'm not paying those prices for something I didn't even want and wasn't worth the cost...
