Riverbend Park is a spacious and well-designed area, catering to children of all ages. There is a dedicated section for toddlers around 2 years old, as well as larger play areas for older kids. The highlight of the park is the tall slide, which requires some courage and strength to climb up before sliding down. It’s an exciting feature that adds an adventurous element to the park.

There are plenty of activities and equipment for kids of different ages to enjoy, making it a versatile and fun destination for families. The park has ample parking, which is convenient for visitors. However, the toilets are very dirty, which is a significant drawback. Despite this, Riverbend Park is a great place for children to play and explore, offering a variety of engaging...

Great parkland setting, the Council has done extremely well setting this up. Really wanted to climb up the big rope thingy for a 'big kid' slide but thought better of it! (went down the smaller accesible one instead!!) the water/creek play area is brilliant, even had to show some kids how the pump one worked! Would love something like this to be built in Queensland, near where I live, to take our Grandaughter around it, in a few years! But the councils up there all live in 'nanny' state, and wouldn't build such great "natural parklands" without all the plastic playgrounds equipment! To have 2 full court basketball courts, instead of just a half court system is...

This park it a great example of a local council taking a big risk, spending the $$$ and getting it right!(I rarely ever think this) the council should be commended of a community facility that is an asset, that serves the community brilliantly. It's big, well thought out and great fun for a wide rang of ages. I am especially impressed with the Risk taking options for kids, it is a challenge, and they get a chance to stretch themselves and be physically active at the same time. Calculated risk taking is an essential early learning skill and it's great to see the opportunity given in this day and age to put oneself at risk(in a controlled manner) and be...
