Edit: After seeing this review they asked me to leave in 24 hours when I had a week long stay booked and prepaid and was told I wasnt welcome back so what ever you do, dont express anything but you're that so thankful lol. I think I got them in a sore spot with the bad management, try not to be bad manager's in the future perhaps, its pretty funny you say you've worked there for seven years when that part of the business only opened six years ago. Extremely over priced and talked up. Very noisy and I expect noise from hotels, this is natural but when it's the staff making the noise most often and you make some polite enquiries, you're essentially told that they've already got your money and you can leave if the noise they constantly make bothers you. I had to ask for the staff working in the room above could stop picking up and dropping the furniture and was rudely informed that there were no staff there, the next morning I wake up to a call with a half apology because others had complained and after they actually checked it was house keeping staff. I found the staff to be mostly robotic in their interactions and very disingenuous with a hint of condescension in just basic things like booking in and ordering room service, I tipped every time and was polite and always respectful but that is definitely not what I got in return. They also seem to be a very popular hotel with a certain verity of "working" ladies that have guests coming and going from the silos hourly. It's a shame that such a great facility is ruined by the very people running it! This is why I checked out early and just went somewhere more basic but much easier going. Foods ok though! Edit, i flew out the the state that day you fools so do you know who you're even talking about lol?

Wow, Peppers Silo Launceston really knocks it out of the park! Right from the get-go, the place makes a stunning impression with its sleek design blending old industrial vibes with new, chic touches. The rooms? They’re not just rooms; they’re spacious retreats crafted to spoil you rotten—think plush and perfect! But let me tell you about Archie, the hotel dog. This furry little guy is an absolute delight and adds such a fun, homely feel to the whole experience. Definitely the goodest of good boys! The folks working here are super friendly and genuinely warm. They make you feel welcome from the moment you step in, helping with anything you need, always with a smile. Location-wise, you're all set. It’s right in the heart of Launceston, making it super easy to hop around town. I also hosted a workshop in their Town Point function room, and it went off without a hitch, thanks to the phenomenal team. Courtney was a dream to work with in setting everything up—clear, concise, and super organised. Jacinta and Jack were on the ball during the event, always there when needed but never in your face. And, oh my, the food! Hats off to the kitchen crew and the Chef. We were treated to an incredible spread of Australian seafood, including Mirror Dory and Boomer Bay oysters. A true celebration of Tasmanian seafood. The room service is great too. I can recommend the gnocchi. I recommend Peppers Silo in a heartbeat! Whether you’re planning a special event, a business trip, or just a relaxed getaway, this place will exceed your expectations. A big thank you to everyone at Peppers Silo for making my stay unforgettable!

This place is so amazing we are looking to extend our stay at peppers silo when we return in August 2021. This place is really special and as I am writing this (from a more expensive Accor property), I can't stop thinking about the peppers silo. Arrived late (10pm) and there was a warm welcome and a very nice upgrade to the deluxe gorge room. The room is sparkling clean and the amenities are top notch. There is loose leaf tea and nice local coffee. The room itself is huge and was once part of the granaries in the launceston area. The layout is pretty good and there is a separate toilet and shower, again the toilet is huge. Views are picturesque and changes as the fog comes and goes, it's very serene to gaze out of the rooms window. For accorplus members, the spectacular grain silo restaurant downstairs honours the Accor restaurant plus discount (it's really good, review for the restaurant is separate to this), for silvers and above, we were able to use the welcome drinks at breakfast (try the signature iced coffee), as we had an extremely long day and had enough to drink at Tamar valley. We can't wait to go back to peppers silo.

We have had a wonderful stay at the The Silos in Launceston having spent a few days over Christmas with family and friends in the North of the State. This is our second stay at this beautifully appointed hotel and one we will be returning to each time we visit Launceston.

Our arrival at reception was very welcoming and always so nice to have a smile when booking in. Parking for guests is offered in the undercover parking which is very convenient. We appreciated the welcoming message and Boyle of Devils Corner wine from the General Manager. A very generous welcome.

Our room on the seventh floor with large windows overlooking the Tamar was spectacular and we very much appreciated the choice of room we were offered.

The room itself is beautifully appointed and makes excellent use of the iconic silos that now houses the hotel. A very clever and creative design. The bed was excellent and the bathroom spacious and well appointed.

We had drinks in the lounge area on the first floor before dinner at the Grain restaurant with friends. The menu was extensive and the food absolutely perfect. The dining experience was made even more special with the lovely staff who looked after us so warmly. A particular thank you to the lovely Jessie who attended to us throughout our meal. She was wonderful.

We enjoyed a very nice a la carte breakfast in the morning but had not been aware that there was a rule that required us to make a booking. . There did appear to be a number of free tables so we were seated after a short wait with a reminder that reservations are usually expected. We will know for next time that a reservation assists in seating at breakfast.

This was the only issue we encountered during what has been a lovely stay at a beautiful hotel and we do appreciate that the hotel and restaurant work collaboratively in support of guests but not necessarily under the same management so any comments on the restaurant should be seen as separate from the hotel. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent

We look forward to a return visit the next time we are in Launceston visiting family. Thank you to the housekeeping staff, reception and all those who made our stay...

Our 2 nights at this hotel were ruined by the crazy amount of noise that filters into your room. We could hear the people in the next room speaking and also on their phones...we could even hear the person on the other end of the phone ! The weird thing is that we had a corner room, so there wasn't another room on the side where the noise was coming from? So it had to be the people in the room below or above us. This morning we were awoken by the TV at 5.30am...but it wasn't our TV ! Whoever's TV it was was so clear in our room that you would swear it was our TV. Also the air-conditioning unit is really noisy, it sounds like a small car on idle in the ceiling. Other noises were creaks and taps that didn't seem to stop, so we put this down to movement in the the building. All this noise was really unfortunate because the hotel itself is quite nice and well located with great facilities. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and the beds are really comfy. Another annoyance was we couldn't find any info in the room about in-room dining. We called reception and got put through to about 3 different staff members before someone told us to check the drawer under the kettle. The guide was actually in there but it was underneath some chips and chocolates and its in a dark cover so you can't distinguish it easily. A better place to leave it would be on the top of the bench near the kettle. On the subject of the kettle its also quite tall and difficult to fill from the tap in the bathroom, small detail but annoying once again for a $250 a night room. The rooms also have 'Chromecast' so you can stream content to the TV. We couldn't get ours to work, just a blank screen when we selected it. On the last night I checked the connection on the back of the TV and found that the Chromecast was connected to the wrong HDMI port. Once I switched the port over it worked fine. Again another example of something that should be checked before every guest checks into their room. Anyway I hope this review helps someone make an informed decision about staying at this hotel. Personally we won't be back at this venue the next time we are in...

Great hotel in four very well converted silos with incredibly attentive staff right the way throughout.

We had originally only planned one night here before we flew back but due to unforeseen circumstances we ended up staying for an additional three ontop. From the moment since we made the phone call to explain our situation the staff were straight onto it. Very polite, very happy to accommodate and try and work the best rooms lined up next to each other for our family and put together a great price / package to match.

The rooms appear to all be spacious in size, well appointed and have fantastic views ( depending i'm guessing on room type selected ) Mini Bar, Foxtel & 'On Demand' new release movie selection and room service were all terrific. Super quiet so you also get a good nights sleep.

The restaurant area for breakfast is huge and has sweeping views of the river, city & public parkland area next to the hotel which does make it more enjoyable and relaxing.

They also have a great bar which kicks off at 3:00pm daily I think and has a great selection of drinks and bar snacks. It also appears the locals stop in their regularly for catch ups over a drink or a weekend stay which is always a good sign also.

The parking is free for their three outdoor car park areas which is great and so easy to simply walk out on ground level and get the car when needed. Location is also perfect - It's far enough out of the city that you don't get any ambient noises in the room but it's an easy walk along the river bank which hugs the edge of the city and makes it easy to explore the city by foot if you want.

The staff have been amazing right the way through. Very attentive, polite and more than happy to help as much as they could for any request and always had a smile in doing so which is great to see. The cleaners did a great job in resetting the room daily and always acknowledged us when walking through the corridors.

Would highly recommend this hotel on all levels no matter if it's an overnight or longer...
