I am writing this review on the Foodworks on Ewing road in Woodridge QLD 4114. I have shopped there on three separate occasions and flatly refuse to ever shop there again. The shop itself is filthy the outside is uninviting, it looks shady and there is always people drinking alcohol asking for money and/or cigarettes. It smells like urine and bodily odour. Whilst inside the shop I felt uncomfortable, uneasy and had an eerie feeling as though something bad was going to happen. The employees themselves expressed their concern on each occasion of how they felt it was unsafe to be there especially after dark. Although they have security on around the clock the first time I visited the shop I saw one get severely assaulted by a gang of thugs. Iâve witnessed the staff being verbally and physically assaulted ; spat at and spat on (most of the staff at foodworks are young might I add) and Iâve also seen people held at knife point whilst I was driving past. The violence in that complex is absolutely insane. I will never ever go near that place again. It is a disgrace and truly needs to be addressed. With all the upgrades that they are doing to the Logan Plaza some two minutes down the road you would think they would at least try to polish the turd that is Foodworks. If it was me personally I would knock it down and send the creepy ,drug infested lunatics that hang around their packing or just build a fence around the whole place and let them sort...
Read moreAhh food works Ewing road, how youâve saved my unprepared butt over the years! They used to be open til midnight, but of course a small handful of unruly guests had to ruin it for everyone. Now closing at 10pm and reopening at 6am, they are still awesome sauce!! Itâs basically a full supermarket, with bakery and meat departments! Always pretty well stocked, clean, and easy to navigate. To be honest, prices are pretty comparable to the big corp grocery stores. Especially energy drinks, I usually find thereâs at least a couple of brands on sale each week. They have an online catalogue, so check that out and see for yourselves before your travels. If you canât nab a car park spot out front, donât fret as you go around the back of the building and youâre spoiled for choice đ Staff are young and energetic, and if youâre super lucky.. youâll catch a glimpse of one of the most magnificently manicured mullets I have ever seen! .. but donât stare too much.. we donât want him to get a complex 𫣠heâs a super nice young man. So yes, food works Ewing road has got you covered when you didnât! Good on you guys and gals, you all earned these...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting FoodWorks, and I must take a moment to highlight the exceptional service provided by a remarkable young fijian girl employee. From the moment I stepped through the door, her cheerful disposition and willingness to help made my shopping experience truly enjoyable. This young girl has a natural talent for customer service. She greets every customer with a warm smile and a friendly âhello,â making you feel welcome as soon as you enter. I was particularly impressed with her product knowledge; when I asked her for assistance in locating an item, she not only directed me to the right aisle but also shared helpful suggestions about similar products that I hadnât considered. What stood out the most was her work ethic and determination. I noticed how efficiently she managed her responsibilities, whether it was restocking shelves, assisting customers, or keeping the checkout line moving smoothly. Despite the busy environment, she maintained a positive attitude and remained poised, all while engaging with customers in a way that made everyone feel valued. Most valuable worker...
