Logan City Tavern — Restaurant in Logan City

went there the first time 6 months ago maybe, two lovely older ladies or something they were great! last two times ive been there has been a horrible woman working, medium length dark hair youngish stay away from her unless you enjoy being mistreated, she told me in the rudest way to take my hat off, then was so so rude when i went to the bar to get a drink after, also couldn't pour a beer to save her life. and that older security guard with longish grey hair hes an absolute piece of work as well, tried to not let me in cos my id had just expired, just death stared me without saying a word when i fished out some id that the date was good on. stumbled a tiny bit under the gruelling of id's also struggled as i have impaired vision i dont have glasses but theres scarring around my eye not hard to put together, if im squinting and struggling to read and stumbled the tiniest bit during this search of id good enough for em im 25 people usually think im in my 30s unfortunately lol point is i dont look 18 and stop iding locals who dint look underage midweek its not the valley on a satdy ffs and be picky about my license just expiring then he lets me in then i go to the bar tells the bartender not to serve me, pretty sure shes the one with the rsa not him? so i play the pokies for an hour to 1.5 hours went to get a drink thinking been long enough for me to 'sober up' even tho i hadnt drunk all day, and he tells her again not to serve me anything!!!! i was driven out of there from thirst despite been having a good win!! so took my winnings and left. just go to the diggers club close by, absolute legends. i love this certain machine there havent lost once onnit touch wood so ima pop in last chance for them to sor out there attitudes or ill never be back what happened to the lovely staff i remember from six months ago and if there was security dont remember em just how it should be i dont look underage and hit that bottlo...

I've been there previously and just only recently have been told about not taking bags inside the pokie machine area I was like seriously and then I approached one of the staff member there prior to this particular day and asked her if my bag was OK to take it it was quite large and she said yes its fine so then the following few days went back to the tavern I also go to staff I asked the lady about my nap sack she said it was fine as I only had groceries in my bag then she double checked with the other lady she gave me a look as if to say no but then said it's ok and then the few days after I go in with one of the bags that I've asked about before and believe it was the manager he said no not allowed bags that big I was so confused and not happy with the service there I've always been happy person I never drank alcohol only played the pokies I don't smoke I do drink just not when I'm playing pokies

So anyways apparently people have been stealing there toilet rolls so they've been telling people to not go in with large bags when there was a few people in there today with nap sacks lol Thursday 14th July 22 Just double standards if you ask me there only two staff members there that are lovely at the jobs there and as for the manager well you can count me out and my family from visiting your tavern

The manager dosent have culture or any understanding on how to communicate with people coming into his venue I'm aboriginal and loved going there but also for the record would they even have the time of day to watch my property too that has valuables in it because they've told me to leave it out near some area I don't know where ??? 🤔 one star 🌟 review...

Been to this location a few times and have experienced good lunch combo which includes a drink of either a soft drink/Wine/standard beer with each meal. Food is always amazing and you will catch a lot regulars and a good crowd pouring in for lunch between 12pm-2pm. allowing you to sit and enjoy and good lunch and if you did have left overs you were free to take it home and the staff would kindly have a take away container. Excellent customer service.

Today is 21/06/2023 and I have returned today since the last visits. And everything has changed/Going to change. Mention of new management which has stopped the normal combo with Drink deals. prices have gone up and soon the menu will change either less or more, and no take always allowed. I do see they will lose a lot there regulars and even have less people in there now. I witnessed a regular family that is always there be turned away on there takeaway they had purchased alot and left leaving disappointed.

Must I also add there were so many empty tables that were not clear there service was slow and it’s like there were so lazy to even clean the tables.

I don’t think me and my family would return back and good luck to the new management system Yous have going on.
