On any other day, I'd give five stars easy. Today? Not so. Just another Sunday. Getting ready for the weeks lunches. Got to Coles, bought a handful of things, then had the girl at self serve accused me of putting things in the trolley without scanning. I showed her the to separate items, on the screen, told her to not call me a thief, and she told me I have to scan items first. I went to unattended service desk, demanded service, a checkout lady said she called manager, I said thanks, when the manager arrived, and almost immediately was dismissing want I was saying. Then asked me to leave. I said problem not resolved, threatened to have me removed with police, I asked for Central management. He kept telling me that he won't deal with me . I told him his staff accused me of stealing, in front of my kids and wife, and about 20 others. Now he's trying to humiliate me with police. . Anyways a cleaner saw the commotion, called security, and they proceeded to tell me that I should leave as I shouldn't be causing a scene. Eventually the manager agreed to my request to put in writing why he wanted me to leave. He bought a clipboard with a paper I asked to read it first, before he put my details on it. He briefly showed me paper underneath, and said this is what you'll be agreeing to. . In short, he wanted me to sign that I was being removed for being aggressive, when I pointed this out that is flawed, he took the clipboard and said well you don't have to sign it. Security in the meantime, continued their standover tactics, telling me to leave. I asked for their number go I can report them, something I'm legally entitled to, and one refused to show me her badge. I pointed out, that she has to give me her number and continued covering and asking me to leave. . Eventually, as was getting nowhere, and because wife was getting frustrated, we left, as the manager of Coles had walked away, not letting another staff help, who seemed keen to assist. All in all? Today was a bad...
Read moreVisited Casey central today about half an hour ago upon walking through Kmart my teenage children were minding their own business picking out their own clothing like instructed after a while I noticed there was a mall security guard doing what looked to be following my children so I sat back for 5 minutes and continued to watch and I definitely thought I knew what I saw. After leaving Kmart I approached the security guard and I then questioned as to why he was following my children which he responded that he was not in a very very rude manner i was absolutely shocked at the lack of professionalism he had been taught to work with he then also responded with a laugh in my face at the fact that I had questioned him like it was nothing but a waste of time (which it shouldn't be because your paid to help people when they're concerned) so then I approach centre management and asked them the same question as I felt as the security guard was being dishonest and the guy that I was met with at Centre management with was beyond extremely rude stating that he was not following my children in a very un polite manner again high lack of professionalism which is pretty bad for someone trying to run the place 𤣠. Again your a manager people should be met with respect and the feeling of being safe in your centre I would not recommend Casey Central to anyone let alone people with children who want to be independent I'm going to be making the extra 20 minute drive to Cranbourne Park shopping Centre from now as I don't feel casey central deserves my time or money and I know the security will treat myself and my children with respect and so will centre management. I have never had such an unpleasant experience in my life and will not stand for the complete lack of training they have with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGood enough range of stores to find whatever you need. It can get busy, parking is usually sufficient though, with wheelchair accessible car parks available and plenty of spots dedicated to parents of young children. Big chain Supermarkets (Coles & Woolworths) are competitively priced and there's also an Aldi store. The Marketplace has a fantastic range of fresh produce at great prices. The centre is equipped with your essentials such as a Post Office, Newsagents, Bank, Pharmacy, Laundromat, Locksmith, Phone Repairs, and a (not that I'd recommend it) Medical Centre, as well as the typical Homeware, Clothing and Variety stores, Barbers and Beauty outlets you'd expect. Lots of food and beverage retailers, several eat-in or take-away restaurants, and plenty of cafes/eateries spread throughout the complex - most with tables and seating (though limited) available for paying customers. There's a couple of indoor play areas for the kids, plus a range of free children's activities for toddlers on weekdays and daily programs for older kids during...
