I Ordered a delivery pizzas (2) at 6.20pm and they told me it would be a wait of 45 to 60 minutes and after 1&1/2 still no pizza i called them back and they told me that they are very busy ................BUT no phone call from them to tell me it running very late ............i find that very bad service to the customer who just order 2 pizza from them hope to eat and enjoy some type of good food? after a long days work * Not Happy Darvid's * then they called me back and said it will be another 15-20 minutes more do i still want the order as they will give me a Garlic Bread Free of charge for the inconvenience they have caused... i said if its ONLY 20 minutes...... after 2 hours and 1/2 later the pizza's arrived / .......... And Now the verdict on the Pizza's -----------the garlic pizza ... tasty - Darvid's Special Pizza .... very tasty and BBQ Chicken pizza tasty ...............But all the pizzas were Just warm almost cold to eat a bit disappointed with the service i don't think i will be ordering from there again .... unless they pick up there act and service there customers well as the customers are the ones that keep them going... i would think twice before i order from them again if its going to take that long for just a pizza i could have traveled from Blackburn to mill park and back in 1-1/2 hours in peak hour traffic ...

Being new to the Area, I’ve utilised the great location and convenience of Darvid’s Pizzeria whenever I feel like a Pizza which is unique and special, their range of Pizza’s and the freshness of the ingredients they use make them, makes it hard to look past Darvid’s, they have a pizza called the rustic which I love, which has roast sweet potato, roast potato, and lots of other lovely ingredients and it shows me that these guys aren’t afraid to be different to the other shops, and to me that’s better, I love it. In this time I’ve gotten an opportunity to talk to the owner quite extensively, as well as his family, and they are beautiful people, and I can tell the owners health and work ethics are second to none. It honestly surprises me if someone doesn’t like this place because I couldn’t find anything I don’t like about it even if I really tried to, it’s definitely worth a try and imo best pizza in Blackburn with fast delivery and great variety, it may not be as cheap as Domino’s but the pizzas are made fresh and with love, something I don’t believe you’d get at Domino’s Hope they...

We didn’t know there was a change of management until we opened the pizza box and had our suspicions…we then checked reviews which confirmed it.

Nevertheless, we were hopeful the pizza would still taste good despite the appearance. We ordered the Darvid’s special and pepperoni pizza as usual. Unfortunately, both fell short on all fronts. The pizza dough was the most disappointing part - it was very hard, tough and cardboard like. Sadly, the quality in the toppings and the way in which they were assembled also fell short and lacked the cheesy pull it used to have. The ingredients for the Darvid’s special seem to have changed and the pepperoni was noticeably different too. We hope that this is just the teething period and that things will improve as it was our favourite local pizza joint. We will give it another go in a few months and hope they iron things out as the new management...
