every Other be games I’ve ever been to have had lovely staff, and I’m sure most of the people here are the same, however on two occasions I called to enquire about a specific game ( there isn’t any others in the state) and the first time I was told it was in transit, fair enough p, I waited nearly a week, the site still said it was available. I rung a second time, someone else picks up, I ask about the same game, I’m told that they have it but they couldn’t sell it to me because it was in “store transfer”, which I have asked about before and been told that be games doesent do store transfers, so I thanked her for her time and hung up. Day afterwards I go through with a click and collect (with an empty bank card) and it went so far as to attempt to charge my card with the purchase. I leave it and 1 week passes, and the day I’m writing this the website updated to “out of stock”.
If I couldn’t be sold the game, that’s fine, but all I want is a legitimate explanation as to why. All I can think of is an employee wanted to get their hand so on it and tried to save it, or possibly it was reserved. But for whatever reason I only gotta convoluted answers.
My only option left is to either pay over $100 dollars online or to go to QLD, WA, TAS or NSW, none of which I live in. I’ll be ringing to ask why I was told they couldn’t sell it when they...

If I had been told there was a strict timeframe for collection, I would have made sure to pick it up on time.
