This is a perfect family beach with shallow water and sandy shore.
Young kids can go far and the depth of the water is still around knee of adults.
I come here because you can see pipi shells and little fish. Great learning opportunities for kids to see and touch them in person. Iām sure you canāt take anything alive from the beach but a lot of families can experience little ocean living things.
As water is shallow, the temperature is very good to. I never feel cold when itās over 30 degrees. Kidsā lips never become blueš
A lot of restaurants and local shops and stores around. We just love visiting this beach.
Very calm, quiet and clean beach where you can find everything you need for a family.
Just little longer drive from where I live but worth it!
Parking seems easy for us (or it was a pure luck!)...

There are plenty of shallow areas where kids, even toddlers can dip their tows pretty safely. Plus there is a big playground which kids definitely love. There is also a beachside walking track which you can use for cycling, walking or for prams/wheelchairs. There is a toilet block nearby.
You can catch some awesome vistas of the rosebud town from the pier especially at sunset. At times, you might get luck and see seals swimming in the ocean nearby.
If you stick around till the sunset, you will get some amazing sunset shades here. Overall, a nice place to bring young kids and enjoy a mini...

The water is so clear and beautiful that it feels as though you are on a tropical island.
Itās safe for kids; the kids I was travelling with were able to play independently with supervision quite a distance in, as the water was so shallow.
There are lots of pretty seashells you can take home as well, and itās not a very crowded beach...
