If you're thinking of collecting your mail from this store do yourselves a favor and find another place to Click & Collect - and to buy your non-expired food.
The manager at this place is really cocky and carefree - and giggles at your inconvenience. I came to collect my parcel last Friday and showed him proof on my phone that it was marked as delivered on his premises.
Without bothering to check he condescendingly smiled at me and claimed that 'according to his spreadsheet' it has not arrived yet. He made no attempt to check his parcel shelf in case he made a mistake.
I then came back today (the following Monday) and once more he claimed the parcel has not been received, displaying a clear lack of interest and care. But at this stage I was fuming, highly frustrated and demanded he check the shelf - and lo & behold, to get me off his lazy back, he made a grand discovery!
The parcel had been sitting there for 4 days, and I had wasted hours taking a break from work, making phone calls to Australia Post, checking other shops in the area, contacting the seller who sent me the parcel and demanding an investigation - because the manager of Foodworks was busy talking on his phone to his buddy in an Indian language instead of helping to solve my problem.
I will never come back to this "convenience store" again, and neither will my...
Read moreI just came back from shopping at this place, having just moved back to the area after 20 years. It looked pretty run down then, and it doesn't appear to have changed at all. Despite being much larger than the average 7/11 or corner store, there is a terribly small range of products, and they are ridiculously overpriced. The staff aren't very professional either. The young woman who was behind the counter when I was there was constantly on her phone. I asked her for a price on a product that was on full display on a 5 shelf case, with no pricing label. She then accosted me about it, telling me in quite a stern voice that They Were Just Printing Up The Labels And They Weren't Ready Yet! Well, there are plenty of handwritten labels around that place, so I don't accept that excuse. Plus, I was just politely asking for a price since it wasn't there. No need for the attitude. At All. All up, a very horrible experience. If I could give this place negative 5...
Read moreRude, deceptive staff. Do not go here for your HUBBED or ParcelPoint deliveries. I went to drop off a ParcelPoint package. The staff claimed they only did HUBBED. I contacted ParcelPoint directly (which is the same company as HUBBED) and their staff confirmed the store must accept both services. The staff then claimed they do neither and ParcelPoint hasn't removed them for the listing despite them leaving the service. But, other packages were on the shelf with the HUBBED stickers. They then said that they only work with CouriersPlease and showed me other customers deliveries (which I doubt the sender's would have liked having their addresses shown to strangers). Unfortunately, the company was Sendle, another service like HUBBED and the staff member failed to understand the difference. ParcelPoint staff called the store but they refused to answer. They advised me to go to another store and escalated the matter...
