The male that works there with the glasses spoke to me like absolute trash when I tried to query the price of an item. He told me off in front of other customers before it was even my turn telling me that it’s an expensive product. I told him I was looking for a smaller quantity to which he told me they were all expensive which I still was happy to pay for but just a smaller portion. He was rude and hostile for no apparent reason with absolutely no customer service skills. In the end, I decided not to even buy the smaller quantity and he missed out on the sale. I’ll be sure to no longer come here again and go to their competitor who sells the exact same products but don’t rip off their paying customers. One of the few Indian grocery stores in the area. We visit this place in regular interval but most of the time their customer service is not good(mainly from owners). One of the worst experience was, we were about to buy an item and decided not to buy after we found that a bit expensive then the lady said to put the item back to the place where it was. Indian Sri Lankan local grocery shop is situated very close to Moonee Ponds Central. Shop provides many Sri Lankan & Indian spices, sweets, frozen foods and some fresh local products. This store is amazingly packed with foods so there is little room to move in between food aisle which makes hard if you have baby with a pram or on disabilty weeal chair.
