This place is run by a cluster of clowns that are incompetent children who don't give a toss about their clients. You will be given incorrect information, your feedback will be ignored, they've run out of membership tags when you join up. When you finally get a membership tag it doesn't work. The equipmat that you report is not working will not be fixed even if you bring it to the attention five times. And when I joined up as an aquatic member it was not mentioned that in the next upcoming month I wouldn't be able to use the pool between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. because of an ongoing school carnival situation. So because of this, I decided to cancel my membership and of course this couldn't even go smoothly. Your fees will be continued to be taken out even after you've been told by reception they have cancelled your account for you, and then neglect tell you that you have to send an email as well, so the direct debit stops. And when you complain about the unfair ongoing deductions you are referred to Simone Thompson the Customer Experience Coordinator, who gives you the worst customer experience ever... and has a care factor of zero!!! ...and does not take into consideration the human error by her staff telling me that they had taken care of it and didn't bother to mention of having to send an email as well. When I wrote to her complaining about this situation she had not even asked the team member whether this was true or not and just quoted terms and conditions about having to send an email. When I confronted her about her lack of investigation skills she said she has now gone back and asked the team member who told me the incorrect information and they told her they had told me to send an email to cancel my membership. Which is a complete lie by that team member. Who was no doubt just trying to cover their butt. If I had been told to send an email I would have sent an email immediately, because I didn't want to be charged via direct debit twice for a service I was not using or wanted. She did not care about my customer experience and doing the right thing by refunding me. Are they that hard up for money that they need to treat their clients' like this? And while I'm at it, the female toilets and showers were always filthy so make sure you wear thongs. The facility itself is not that bad but the experience is spoiled by the cluster of clowns running the show. Avoid...
Read moreNice place but terrible life guards. They care more about whether your holding onto the lane dividers than if your drowning or not. Me and my cousins were playing in the pool, mind you there were 4 of us, none of us could touch the ground and only 2 of us were decent swimmers (not including me). My cousins pool noodle slipped from beneath her and she began to drown, it took us 15 seconds to bring her to the edge, and by that time she had swallowed a lot of water and fallen under many times. She was flailing her arms around and screaming yet the life guards saw nothing? Seriously, you have one job to do and you can't even do that right. My poor cousin had to sit down for 30 minutes and didn't have any fun. She was terrified to get into the water again. She finally decided to get in again only this time she only realised she didn't have her pool noodle after she got into the water and started drowning again. I tried helping her by pulling her up but it only ended in me drowning aswell as my pool noodle slipped away and she tried lifting herself onto my head. We both eventually got out but had to leave because we swallowed too much water and got sick, and again. Absolutely no life guard in sightm and when we told them, the woman said "well I'm gad you guys are okay now" gave us a dirty look and...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to the Noble Park Aquatic Centre gym, I was genuinely impressed by the overall layout, but there is room for improvement. The gym offers an extensive array of cutting-edge machines and equipment, encompassing the latest in cardio, strength-training, and free weights.
One suggestion for enhancement would be the addition of a cable attachment rack, preferably placed adjacent to the cable machines. This would streamline the process of locating specific handles or bars, ensuring a more seamless workout experience.
Furthermore, introducing Gorilla Grips for lat pull downs could be a fantastic inclusion, enhancing user comfort and grip during workouts.
To further engage the community, I propose the incorporation of a Personal Record (PR) leaderboard, ideally positioned near the racks on the gym wall. This feature, based on my experience at my previous gym, adds an element of friendly competition and camaraderie that many gym-goers find motivating and enjoyable.
Overall, the Noble Park Aquatic Centre gym has significant potential, and these suggested improvements could make it even more appealing to fitness...
