I love this place for its crystal clear water, white sandy beach, breathtaking views, and great amenities. Parking can be an issue sometimes, however, you can park in nearby areas. You can walk by the river, enjoy fishing on the pier, or just a BBQ picnic next to the beach. There's plenty of sitting arrangements for everyone. Kids can enjoy the rides in the nearby playground under the leafy and shaded trees. Facilitated by four separate BBQ areas while you watch the kids playing. There's bicycle parking available if you want and drinking water taps on site. There are a lot of great restaurants nearby, so no worries about the food. Seafood, pizza, or fish and chips all very handy. Less than 90 minutes drive from Melbourne makes it a very convenient day trip for most Victorians and visitors.

A fantastic beach—super convenient and perfect for bringing kids to play. You can get up close to a variety of marine life. The water is crystal clear, making it well worth a visit.

I cannot believe that I'm born in Melbourne, have been many times to the Peninsula and yet my first time here was to bring a cousin visiting from Europe. Wow. Such a beautiful little spot. It was Sept school holidays mid week but wasn't crazy busy. The pier is cute, the water so clean and divine. So pretty the sand, beach and back drop. Also loved seeing small children easily playing in the shallow gentle water. Definitely family friendly. I will definitely be back soon and spend a day in the sun, water and taking in the vibes. Love that there are also ample toilets and shops close by to buy lunch. I know at some other beaches near by it's not as convenient. Oh Rosebud, your Pier is cool. Love it! See you soon.

I go here every Tuesday and Thursday morning for a few hours with my support worker for our support appointment. first of all we park in the carpark looking out onto the beach and have a coffee and breakfast. We chat for a little while first in a very peaceful and beautiful view spot then go for a walk, we walk the pier which is always nice and you can often see sea life in the water and have seen stingrays many times including big ones. the area also offers two walking tracks on either side of the beach, the one on the right of the pier is alot longer. Been going to this place as mentioned for just over a year every week. I thoroughly recommend this place to relax and enjoy yourself or get exercise...
